wtf.... when played garrus, thane, and jack died on the flight to the "suicide mission" then grunt, miranda, jacob, and samara. i was so pissed, so i started a new game

i remember when on my first play through jacks shield was failing and i thought "f**k it, who cares if she dies"...when garrus was carried off i actually stood up and shouted "F***********K!" and i was in a bad mood for the rest of the mission.
On my 'intentionally crap' playthrough as a renegade fem-shep-adept at the end I had Tali, Garrus, Legion, Jacob and Mordin left. Only Tali and Garrus were loyal and I wanted them to live (being your old pals and all), leaving Legion Jacob and Mordin to hold the line at the end. Took my sweet time killing the last boss only to find at the end that Legion ALONE managed to hold off the collectors before mooching back to the ship 'alive' and well.
Needless to say, after that legion was firmly cemented in my eyes as one bad ass mo-fo.

If you have only have one person besides Shepard survive, or nobody survive, then Shepard dies as well, because no one is there to pull him/her up onto the Normandy.GodsAndFishes said:

My first playthrough, I didn't have Legion or Miranda Loyal. I was so scared of losing them that I kept them with my team the whole way through. Everyone else survived, but after taking down big bad reaper, Miranda and Legion are crushed. I felt so sad watching Shepard running along being chased all alone.
When I hit the shuttle, Shepard was slipping. I was so worried that because those two died, nobody would be there to pick me up. Then, Grunt yanks me up with one arm. That was so awesome that it almost made me forget that two people I went out of my was to protect died. Almost.
Second time, full Renegade, nailed the ending, blew the base, told Martin Sheen to fuck off, and when Rogue, taking the Normandy with me. Badass

Tali Zorah Vas Normandy - The only one to be killed in the defence team. Exact details unknown.
Zaeed Massani - Killed whilst saving the crew of the Normandy, he escorted them back to the ship but was killed whilst holding the line.
Kasumi Goto - Shot in the head whilst closing the door, she bravely crawled through the pipeline to deactivate defenses.
Jack/Subject Zero - Killed during initial assault on base. Killed when laser burned through the hull and hit her.
Collector base was spared. Cerberus allowed to salvage vessel.
Medals of bravery go to all crew members of the Normandy, living and dead.

Garrus survived but Mordin died after taking a rocket to the face, which I was surprised about as he had taken much worst batterings in the past and had leapt to his feet after the liberal application of medigel.
Anyway, I chose Jack to create the biotic shield and chose Miranda to lead the other team as she sulked when I chose Garrus over her to lead the last time. Everyone survived but my heart skipped a beat when Miranda took a shot to the stomach.
I chose Kasume to lead the crew back to the Normandy, she survived. And I took Thane and Samara to face the boss and we pretty much tore the Terminator rip off a new arse with Reave and my Collector beam weapon.
Blew the collector base to bits, even though I could see The Illusive Mans point of view. But seeing as I had played as a pain in his arse throughout the entire game, I saw no need to stop just because the fate of the universe could hang on my decision.
In the end, everyone but Mordin survived, which made me sad when I saw his little coffin. So working on a second play through where everyone lives, as soon as I can stomach another bout of planet scanning fun.

the only one dying was that doctor-woman,i didnt have anyone escort her back to the ship since i thought THAT person would die,and i wasnt going to waste any hired guns that i had.
that hot chick to the right of me when going to the space map,she was squished tough. i dont know if sheppard slept with her,but she came to his cabin and the spended the night there.
anyhow...
1. i let that girl in a glashelmet do the sneaking in the tubes,since it said she was electronic expert. she lived.
2. i let that hot chick in white dress lead the other team since it said she was a natural leader. she lived.
3. i let that blue chick with big bazookas have the energy shield. she lived.
4. i had legion + grunt with me for the whole time. they lived.
5. i did the tactical choice of radioactivate the big ship,leaving it intact.
so shepperd juuuuuuuuuuuuuumped from the cliff. he lived.
people i had romantic relations with:
1. the girl with glass helmet got Smexed
2. that hot girl to the right when standing at the space map got smexed too
3. that hot girl in white.. i THOUGHT there was going to be something,but every time she just said "ill be to your cabin when it gets quiet"..so at last i got bored with her and dumped her.
4. i wanted to hump the illusive man,but he was too illusive and slipped through my fingers.
