It'll be good to see her again, didn't use her too much but she was interesting and I wish to see the Quarien culture. Slightly off topic though, doesn't the new engine look absolutely gorgeous

Just a random question about Mass Effect 2: are there any new friendly alien races in the game? Or old friendly alien races getting a larger role? Seems like the new aliens always want to kill you.

Well then, now that's confirmed, all I have to wonder is:
WILL THAT STATEMENT AT THE BEGINNING GO SOMEWHERE? One of the worst parts of Mass Effect was finding out that Tali wasn't a romantic option, not even platonically. Hopefully this next iteration fixes that, because out of all the other ladies possible thus far (Subject Zero, and possibly the return of Liara, since I killed the other one), I'm so far uninterested. Tali being an option would spice things right up.

I don't know why but I really loved this character in ME1. Something about the whole gypsy thing really sold the character for me. The fact the you can just barely make her facial features threw her viser was a really cool visual, and I just loved her look in general.
I was constantly thinking that the querians are actually geth as well, just ones with better morales then their brothers, and that the actuall querians are long dead. The whole no immune system is just an execuse to run around in masks ( I like this idea but I would actually be dissapointed if bioware actually did it, it would be completelty unrealistic, as it would suggest that no querain was ever shot or blown up and his under-suit was seen )

They're doing all this hype about your choices in the first game mattering, so when are we getting the Ashley/Alenko trailer? That was one of the biggest choices in the first game and I would be stunned if they didn't bring that into the second one.
Also, Tali was useful later on for hacking Armatures and she had some nice shielding. The rest of the time though, firepower + biotics usually won out.

I haven't talked in depth with Tali in game for a while so some Quarian customs elude me temporarily, but did anyone else notice the name change for her?
In Mass Effect she was Tali'Zorah Nah'Rayya, and in that trailer she's Tali'Zorah Ssv'Normandy (the Ssv part was pronounced "uss-v" with a soft "v"). The last part of her name must be the ship she's from, and now she's been officially designated as a member of Normandy's crew by her species.

Yay Tali! She was my second favourite teammate in the original (with Wrex just pipping her to the post. Mass Effect 2 just keeps getting better and better.
im really glad to hear this,grunt and subject zero were really lame so its good that theyre bringing back one of the better squad mates from ME1.and to everyone saying she sucked in ME1,she was incredibly survivable with her ridiculous shields,had access to all the good tech powers and she got shotguns,the only weapon the AI could actually use properly. wrex+tali=best party hands down.
