Who the hell is that guy on the case? 'Cause he's certainly not *my* Shepard... :p

Yeah, I know its nitpicking, but getting all that artwork and paraphenilia with Bioware's vision of Shepard plastered all over it would just make me feel like my FemShep is an impostor. :'(

Guys, the 'dog' isn't going to be like the mabari. It's going to be an on ship pet. It's a flippant touch of whimsy, not a combat option.

Now, it's up to you to decide if that's enough to entice you. I'm uns... oh, who am I kidding? Yes, it is enough for me. Especially if you can play with him.

But it's not a copy of DA2. Let's not bash them for stuff that doesn't seem likely.

I just pre-ordered the collector's edition of Mass Effect 3 for the PC and the x-box 360 today. I can't wait till it comes out.

The N7 sniper rifle could be cool.. as long as it isn't another of them 3 shots junk thingy's.. the rest ?... skippable. And a year from now ?... i could be dead by then... Come back when its like 1-2 months... a year.. not now... they already trying to get us hooked on an idea...

We all know where that might turn out... Dragon age 2 Anyone ?.... barf.

I plan on naming the dog Dogmeat in honor of my favorite little fallout 3 companion (after the broken steel patch when it could solo three deathclaws on very hard difficulty)

I'll name mine K-9.

EDIT:

And cancelling order of standard edition... placing order on collector's edition. This is the only collectors edition I will probably ever buy,

My thoughts exactly.

I hope the soundtrack has all the songs. I hate it when I download a videogame's soundtrack but it's missing one particular piece that I really like.

Oh dear God. I can just imagine what would happen with some of the "Tali-philes" on Bioware's forums... Must buy... mind bleach...

normally i dont go for the collectors edition for games cause the stuff they add is not worth the money in my opinion. however the stuff they give you in me3 is very tempting . . . yeah gonna have to pre-order this asap

I'm going to go for it of course, but I can't help but be little disappointed. I remember a while back a Bioware somebody saying something along the lines of using CodMod's night vision goggles as a point of comparison. I was kind of expecting something more...tangible. That being said my standards were probably a little high and I'll love me my ME3 collectors edition.

Now that is some glorious box art. I'm starting to suspect Bioware has intentionally made the standard box art so generic (is that the right word?) to entice people into getting the clearly superior version.

Don't see much use for a dog though. I guess it can clutter up fights like the DA2 mabari, but that's hardly worth the effort of turning on.

So...when do countries other than the US get to preorder this thing? I'd prefer if I could order from my own country rather than shipping through the US like I had to with both DA2 and the Witcher 2
