LOL TAKE ALL OF MY MONEY AND MARRY ME BIOWARE.

Seriously though, this is a damn cool collector's edition. I'm weirdly excited about all the concept art in the art book >.>

.....So getting the collectors edition. I mean, there's a robot dog! I'm gonna name him Gix. (I have a thing with naming Bioware characters after MTG characters. (Yes, I read those books that used to come in the fat pack before wizards got cheap)

It looks good, but I seriously doubt that it will be that limited. Pretty much all of the content is in-game or extremely easy to make (book and patch).

Assuming it isn't ridiculously high a price, I will be getting it.

It's a shame that Bioware won't be able to make the uber edition they alluded to a while ago on their forums, but I'm still getting this. If only they made a larger model of the Normandy they're currently selling, I'd be set for ME3.

Lacks room decoration (I have the hots for posters and statues and stuff) but hell, I still want it. I'll stitch that N7 patch on my laptop bag or something.

Luckily the release date is so far away that I might have the money for the collector's edition. Cannot wait.

Can I just wait until after it's released to pay a $2.00 DLC charge for the robot dog? Everything else seems extraneous to that one thing. I mean, by the end of THIS game all of those super special weapons will be superfluous and all of the kitschy extras will just rot in a drawer somewhere. But at least the robot dog, one would assume, you can interact with in game and that seems like a real must-have to the experience. Also I hope I can name it K-9.

Preorder, and Day one Buy ^__^ I'm a sucker for Soundtracks Big time.

I'm not complaning or anything But Seriously... No Model of the Normandy or one of those SR2 Caps?

That would of been Sweet but given the resources of the web I could more than likely make one

Nothing says "die-hard videogame fan" like a penchant for collector's editions. While the rest of you are out there just playing your games, those of us who take this business seriously are stocking our shelves with metal boxes, art books, soundtracks and exclusive content that less-discriminating consumers will have to wait literally days to get.
METAL BOXES!?

OUR ENEMIES HIIDE IN METAL BOXES, THE COWARDS, THE FOOLS! We... we shall take away their metal boxes.

OT: Is that all it costs? That's barely any more than the usual version. In fact, over here in Britland, that's only about £10 more than the normal version. And we get K9 too! Ooh, do we get a blue box that can travel through time?

I'm most interested in the art book. So I'd pre-order right away, if it weren't for the fact that it doesn't exist on the UK version of Amazon yet. Please don't tell me it's US exclusive...

I'm going to name mine Steve the Beve. I don't know what it means, but at least I'll have a robotic dog.

Also, pre-ordered. Yesterday. I can't wait! Actually I can.

It's on game.co.uk right now (props to.. whoever I quoted about 5 minutes ago)
Wait, what? It's £70? That's about £20 more than what it should cost if my currency converter was telling the truth.

Not as interested in it now... damn.

if i can bring the robot dog along in combat as a 4th companion, cool, if not then its pointless.
the Hoodie seems cool but it's gonna be awkward seeing Shepard in normal looking clothes, i mean the closest you got to normal in ME2 was that weird leather thing

And so it is with Mass Effect 3, which BioWare has revealed will be available in both a standard, "I'm not a real fan" edition
This made me laugh. Heavily.

I'm going to start saying that to people in Gamestop...!

OT: I like the hoodie thing, and N7 weapons, but...all of that isn't worth the price for me. Sorry, Bioware!

Eh the Package sounds nice enough, a Dog, Soundtrack, yeah pretty decent but im not going for that. Bought the ME2 Collectors Edition and was seriously disappointed by it, given that the "behind the scenes" Thing was merely 10 Minutes in total and the included "free Content" was hardly worth the additional cost.

Seriously, a Tank with 5 Mini-Missions which are finished in under 2 Hours, 1 new Crewmember with one single Loyalty Quest and no Interaction beyond that, 3 Guns and 2 non-customizable Armors.

And on the other side of the fence, genius Content like Project Overlord and Lair of the Shadow Broker. Yep, i felt screwed in hindsight. So nope, while it sounds like a sweet deal, the last one turned me off on going for that again.

Still hoping that Bioware will continue with what they did for Origins, i.e. release ME2 again with all the DLC Content added as a cheaper Deluxe Edition.

Done and done, I cannot wait! And is this dog going to run around and find treasure and stuff because Fable in space sounds like an awesome and terrible idea.
