Well, one person's talking is another person's whining. For example, you probably think you're talking right now, whereas it sounds like a lot of whinging to me. Eye of the beholder, my friend.

And whatever the case, of COURSE it's okay to fucking complain. We can't complain to companies now? Are we going to startle their virgin ears? What on earth are you on about?

i learned over the years that you get more by being civil not acting like a little kid who deserve to be locked in there room. even when i was charged extra i just sat back and called them and was civil about it and guess what i got stuff for free

There's still some debate about whether or not branding an entire demographic as "whiners" and equating them to angry children because they don't share your views qualifies as "civility". I'll get back to you with the results.

Seriously...and how the hell DO you get captured by the Reapers, get COMPLETELY Reaper-ized (i.e. installed with synthetic and mechanical parts...her mouth is a frickin' spotlight!) and yet you're NOT completely Indoctrinated? Honestly I seriously considered killing her even with my Paragon Shep purely because I didn't think she could be trusted anymore!

oh, and one of my favorite parts of the game is when Grunt comes strolling out of the cave absolutely DRENCHED in blood.

I tried to find an appropriate picture by Googling "killing art", but apparently those two words are popular in the metal scene. But then I tried "stab art"...and failed again.

I guess all the art was dead, so I couldn't find it. But that second search did lead me to this*...

*Not a fan of ponies. But also not a fan of cats.

All in all, I'd say this whole post is pretty pointless. Yep. Like art. Because it's dead.

I don't know. Maybe I'm just being cynical but reading between the lines, I get the impression that someone at Bioware, even if it's just Hudson, still thinks the ending is fine. The phrase "even more context and clarity" stongly implies that the ending is already clear and makes sense in context.

Personally I am going to wait and see how the free DLC plays out. I doubt it will completely appease me, but then I can always reserve judgment on Bioware games only to give them my money when I know that they are offering a quality product with no strings attached. I am not going to be buying any ME3 DLC however. Showing them they made a mistake will hopefully lead to better decision making on their part going forward.

I don't know. Maybe I'm just being cynical but reading between the lines, I get the impression that someone at Bioware, even if it's just Hudson, still thinks the ending is fine. The phrase "even more context and clarity" stongly implies that the ending is already clear and makes sense in context.

Realistically, I didn't ever think they were going to do more than what they're doing here. I wanted them to...it would've been nice...but I didn't see it happening. Even in their feedback thread, I gave feedback on the assumption Star Child would be sticking around. A re-write of that level would've required bringing in all the voice actors again, putting in reams of new game play, etc, etc, and that would've required charging, and that would've started a whole other brand of shit storm. This is more like a tie. And yes, ties are like kissing your sister, but that's still an upgrade over the original ME3 ending.

My theory stems from the same conclusion I came to about why they couldn't take control of Legion, even though he was pumped up with Reaper code and they had wires in him. Too complex for partial indoctrination, but too valuable for total indoctrination. Being the control center for a hive mind species would most likely afford a Queen protection from mind control in the same way that Legions more complex matrix kept him free of Reaper control. What's another voice when you're used to thousands all talking at once?

OT: Hmm...they could release the DLC as late as mid-September, and with no need for certification for DLC, they can work til the last minute on it, so this gives them anywhere from 3-6 months to work on it. You can get a lot done in that time with just the stuff they had to cut. I'm hoping for more than just a text crawl, but if that's all we get, I'll take it.
