Uhh it isn't like a majority of the populace of those civilizations were at Earth.Seanfall said:How do they get back to those places with the Mass Relays gone? Even if they didn't blow up like in arrival their still non functioning.
I think he got confronted by the mods after it was all said and done and admitted to trolling. That's what I heard anyway.BloatedGuppy said:No idea. I can't find the post that finally pushed it over the edge.lacktheknack said:Why is Zeel banned? We could have a mass gloating!

Zeel admitted to trolling on one of the first days he was here. I always figured they let him hang around because he drove up page views, or something.Fappy said:I think he got confronted by the mods after it was all said and done and admitted to trolling. That's what I heard anyway.

Congratulations, The game, the players, the company, consumers are now worse off for this.
Other thought:
This for all the people who said that changing the ending would not be compromising artistic vision. This is straight from the horses mouth, they had to sacrifice their vision, in order to appease so many irrational people, If they had to strike a balance, they had to compromise the vision to make a balance for the players. With the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut we think we have struck a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team's artistic vision
But if nothing else, this is a good thing. The damage is now done, and at least this beast can be put to rest and people can shut the hell up about it. Im glad its over, even thought its the worst possible outcome. Oh well.
How the fuck is the ending ruined if its just adding an Epilogue to it?

You ran a Mass Effect d20 game this summer too?! What are the odds?Fappy said:I had to come up with a new canon ME3 ending to compliment my ME d20 campaign this summer (3rd part in a trilogy) because it takes place during the events of ME3 and if the relays are destroyed it pretty much invalidates the entire plot of the campaign and everything they have done up to that point. Thankfully I don't need to go into much detail because the PC's aren't going to witness what transpires on the Citadel in the end anyway.
Again...Tali can't get back to Rannoch though. So they still all starve to death or kill each other.SajuukKhar said:Uhh it isn't like a majority of the populace of those civilizations were at Earth.Seanfall said:How do they get back to those places with the Mass Relays gone? Also I said "set forth" by wrex, I.e. all the ideals he did in the near 3 years from Me1 till Me3.
...You know, I tried, but I just can't let that go by unchallenged.SajuukKhar said:Given that the overall logic behind the "synthetics will kill organics eventually" is correct because over a long term any and all things that have a probability of even 0.0000000001% will happen inevitably, the real things they really need to clarify arenikki191 said:simply put the fan base are complaining that the ending is so out of character with the game, so broken, so non sensical that no amount of clarity will fix it short of a complete reshoot of the endingDendio said:The Bioware forums are ablaze with QQ right now. 1. The Normandy stuff
2. How the FFFFFFFFFFFF did your squadmates get on the Normandy
Those are really the only two big plot-holes.
I'm guessing 1 in 20.Bara_no_Hime said:You ran a Mass Effect d20 game this summer too?! What are the odds?
well first off I said BIG plot-holes, not plotholes in general. I suggest that next time you actually read someones post before yo respond to it.Asita said:snip
i'm referring to future EA games/DLC, depending on how the extended cut goes, i might not even download it if it gets thrashed or is nothing more than a few second tid bits here and there in the "choose your color of shit" endings.DrVornoff said:The DLC is going to be free. I think I remember you detailing this in another thread a few weeks back. Sounded funBara_no_Hime said:You ran a Mass Effect d20 game this summer too?! Actually, I already ran the end of ME3 in my game - during the summer. I was actually running for a player playing as Shepard, so I not only had to write my own ending, but the entirety of ME3.
My game didn't have a Crucible (since I didn't know about it). Instead, all the collected resources went into building a fleet of Upgraded SR ships to vanguard (pun intended) the attack on the Reaper fleet. Prohibitively expensive my ass - the Quarian Corps of Engineers was on the scene. ^^
Screw magic mcguffinery - in my game, Shepard destroyed the Reaper fleet in full-on combat. The Collector ship was Reaper Tech - if the Normandy could solo it, then it could solo a Reaper Destroyer. A fleet of Normandies... you get the idea. ^^
same way i did, demand a refund from bioware.DrVornoff said:The DLC is going to be free. How exactly will you be voting with your wallet?gmaverick019 said:this will be the first time that i will actually "vote with my wallet".
