I still have faith in Bioware, but their unholy union with EA is concerning.

Why? Trying to prevent their story from being spoiled, especially after years of buildup and way too long into the development stage to be changed, seems rather justifiable.RedEyesBlackGamer said:Bioware seems to be steadily turning into a company that I refuse to associate with and support.TheGuy(wantstobe) said:Careful with this thread though guys. Trying to put a gag order on the whole thing though? Isn't that going a little too far?PureIrony said:Why? When something is stolen, you try to get it back. This doesn't seem that much different.RedEyesBlackGamer said:Trying to put a gag order on the whole thing though? Nothing was stolen. The beta was legally downloaded when it was released by accident. Trying to stop people from talking about it is only going to make people angry. The damage is done, the only thing that they will damage now is their public image.PureIrony said:When something is stolen, you try to get it back. Besides, think of the long-term ramifications. Every time even a little news on ME3 comes out now, in the comments section they'll be at least one asshole going "hey, I read the plot synopsis and it sucks, so it doesn't matter! Bioware died when they joined EA, herpy de derp".
It really does just seem better for everyone if all of this just disappears.
While, thats one mistake on my part. Still, I just don't see this as unreasonable. NOt every forum post is going to have the grace to spoiler tag every little detail. There are people (myself included) who don't want to know what happens, and given that this is the internet, they can't just wall off the people who do know from those who don't.RedEyesBlackGamer said:Nothing was stolen. *raises hand* I do... I always have... I LOVE spoilers. I'm already processing this info and thinking up a game plan in my head as to how i'll tackle all this. And while i belive this is prolly a good outline of the whole story of ME3, i don't think it's everything. I think some secret ways will be present to handle situations differently then the outline, well, outlines. And now that it's all known, bioware may well try and change some stuff as well to try and keep it freash.PureIrony said:God. Dammit. Why do people do this? Who wants know all the little details beforehand?
People posting about how unimpressed they are are not helping.
Fair enough. I can get the metagaming aspect of it,and while I never really lost faith in Bioware, I get why you would want to personally affirm the story's quality.Kingsnake661 said:*raises hand* I do... To be honest, all the info that bioware has been releasing lately about this game has only made me less and less intrested in the game. IT's focus on the combat, the addition of MP, ect, has done NOTHING for me at all, but, seeing that the game SEEMS to have ALOT of different content to run, in an eairly rough draft, gives me more hope.
Can't say i'm found of a few of the seeminly unavoidable deaths, but, eh... like i said, there might be a way to change that, there might not. We'll have to wait and see.
