So, after scrolling through the videos of a LPer I like, I noticed he did a reaction video. I took a peek at the original video, and found...

...This.

Your thoughts? I just find it funny Mass Effect has become the punching bag for any issue the Moral Guardians have with Videogaming as a whole. That, and as the comments start to drift towards defending Mass Effect, there are still a bunch of people who think there is a 'massacre' scene in it.

I definitely miss GTA being responsible for everything. Although Jack Thompson managed to top even that - I recall he wanted to sue Sony, because they made the PlayStation where some kid played GTA and apparently under its influence did something. No, not shooting, as far as I recall, I think the kid (which was, like, 16-17) tried to rob or stab somebody. Something like that.

Now excuse me, time for some Liara porn Mass Effect 1 for me.

Ooh, yeah, baby, shake it. You're a bad girl, Liara, a ba-a-ad girl. Yeah!

If only ME3 was what those people thought it was, then I would have made sure that this

Died a horrible, painful, death.

But yeah, people are morons. What did you expect?

I played Mass Effect once, it was really strange. After about 10 minutes in I started hearing voices telling me to go kill children and I got really scared and turned off the game and burned the disc before its evil could corrupt me any further.

...Not really, its unbelievable how many people are spewing these completely baseless accusations, knowing none of the facts. People just love to have something to hate, its a shame they are too stupid to work out what they really should be hating.

Dumb people on facebook say dumb as shit things. What's new?
Agreed. No one wishes to acknowledge the fact that this person was a disturbed individual likely to be set off by a packet of Coco Pops as much as an "evil video game".

Why do they never look at his upbringing and the people around him, who may of influenced him? No one ever blames the parents for a shit job or the people that messed with his head. (cyber bulling excluded as you could just turn off the computer/laptop).

I think I lost a brain cell or two when I saw the comments on the page that day.
I was on Teamspeak with a couple friends and the first thing I said after explaining this to them was 'feel that? that's the average IQ dropping another 5 points'

OT: My thoughts? People wanted something to blame and took the first target the media gave them. Most people didn't know anything about the game otherwise they probably would know that it one of the least violence-oriented games while still being a shooter and that the series as a whole focused on working together despite individual differences.

The best part though? It wasn't even the shooter who played the game and the game being blamed later changed to Starcraft II, which is probably about as far off the mark you'll get while still having violence in the game, then it was changed to Black Ops II... try harder next time media if you want to blame games...

Hey clueless parents, if video games are the main contributors to your child's mental/psychological development you're doing it wrong.

Only a kid who's already severely screwed up would react to games the way you all claim they do.

Hilarious. If we are really careful on our descriptions, we'll soon have them calling out Viva Pinata for its demonic imagery that would make H. R. Giger vomit!

Don't use "If you know what I mean", it makes things sound sexual.
