[HEADING=1]-- COALITION --[/HEADING]

The year is 2184 CE, one year after the death of the great Commander Shepard. With the loss of one of their top agents, the Citadel Council worries about the safety of the galaxy. Shepard's death has been followed by new reports of Council Spectres missing or killed in action... but by whom? The geth presence in the Attican Traverse and the Terminus Systems has been considerably reduced, and not many of the other non-Council races have the cohesion to stand against the Citadel. And of course, the mysterious Collectors skulk around in the shadows of the galaxy, exchanging technology for bizarre requests. The little that is known about the enigmatic race is kept quiet: whether this is out of fear or ignorance is up for debate.

It is with the unknown threat to the Citadel Council and the Spectres that Coalition begins. A turian Spectre, Recarius Kallidan, is on the hunt for followers he can trust to assist in his investigation. From there, he will lead them, and the rest of the galaxy, to the truth. Leads, secrets and information with varying degrees of reliability are all that this Spectre has to work with: only time and patience will tell if they are enough to lift the veil over the galaxy's eyes.

Hello, and welcome to this RP.

As a fan of both Mass Effect games - still haven't finished ME2 yet, though - and the tie-in novels by Drew Karpyshyn, I have often thought about the series as an RP, even joining one that, sadly, didn't get very far. I haven't seen many Mass Effect threads in 2011, besides Chicago Ted's Aegis Protection Firm, which has gone on for a while now (according to the OP of the current thread, March 2010 was its starting point) and I feel that it would be weird to join in the middle of it. With that in mind, I have come up with my own RP, taking place between the events of Mass Effect 1 and 2. With Commander Shepard out of the picture, we will focus on a different Spectre of my own creation.

To those who wish to join, welcome and good luck in writing your character sheet.

Shepard's actions before the destruction of the Normandy SR-1 are as follows:
- Saved the Destiny Ascension in the Battle of the Citadel.
- Released the Rachni Queen on Noveria.
- Spared the colony of Zhu's Hope on Feros, including the asari Shiala.
- Kaidan Alenko gave his life to complete the mission on Virmire.
- Convinced Urdnot Wrex to understand the destruction of the krogan facility on the same planet.
- Captain David Anderson is the human Council member.

Additional Note: In the manner of the Mass Effect novels by Drew Karpyshyn (at the time of writing), please do not refer to Shepard by gender-specific words such as he, she, him or her. There are other ways to describe the commander.

Name: This should be fairly obvious. Do try and keep it relevant to your race, though: you won't see an asari named Steve.
Age: Please keep this relevant to your race, and in terms of galactic standard years. For example, asari can live for up to a thousand years. Salarians live much shorter lives.
Gender: Again, fairly obvious.
Race: I will only accept characters from the following races:
- Human
- Asari
- Turian
- Salarian
- Drell
- Batarian
- Krogan
- Quarian

Any others will be dismissed immediately.

Appearance: Describe your character's physical characteristics. How tall are they? How would you describe their racial features? What kind of clothing or armour do they wear?

Personality: The quirks and flaws that make your character an individual as opposed to a soulless machine or a simple extension of you, the player.

Profession: What does your character do for a living? Are they a soldier, scientist, technician, assassin, courier, doctor? The choice is yours.
Talents: What special skills does your character have? Do they rely on weapons and/or tech attacks to get through combat, or do their proficiencies lie off of the battlefield? Are they a biotic? If so, how do their biotics affect their daily life? Are they a skilled negotiator? Do they have a keen eye for detail?
GM's Note: Both of these are somewhat open compared to the previous version of the character sheet, so feel free to throw in anything you think is useful.
Possessions: What does your character own that they will bring aboard Recarius's ship, the Steadfast? Weapons, armour, an omni-tool, or (almost) any other items your character deems valuable. When choosing your character's weapons, please don't pick anything too powerful or otherwise unusable; most humans would be unable to fire the M-98 Widow sniper rifle without breaking an arm. Also, no Collector weaponry or heavy weapons; the Steadfast's armoury will provide the latter.

Biography: Your character's life up to the present day. Where were they born? How did they receive the training they have? When did they leave their home planet? Did they travel the galaxy, enlist in the military, or score a swanky job on the Citadel after a while? The choice is yours.

Please include an event in which the character participated, that caught the attention of Recarius Kallidan. As a Spectre, he won't just go round picking people off of the street to join his team aboard the Steadfast, his starship. In your character's biography, they should either make their way to the space station Omega at some point, or receive a communique from Recarius telling them to meet him there. The meeting with Recarius will not take place in Afterlife. Rather, the message directs the reader to a medium-quality apartment on the space station; a female quarian will be waiting outside to mark the place.

Notes: Anything you feel is necessary to flesh out your character beyond the entries above.

- First and foremost, I will only accept one character per person. No exceptions.

- I will not tolerate plagiarism in any way. If I see a character sheet that looks oddly familiar to something I've seen before, but wasn't your creation, then I will dismiss it. In addition, if I see a sheet that bears an almost uncanny resemblance to sheets I've seen from you before, outside of this genre, I will ask you to write a new one. Originality is good: it helps you to expand on your characters and build more onto them as you go.
- - In addition, I request that applicants create characters with no connections to existing characters in the Mass Effect universe, nor any connections to organisations such as C-Sec, the Blue Suns or the Spectres. My turian character will be the only player-character Spectre in the RP.

- Given that the Citadel Council is in denial on the subject of the Reaper threat, the truth about the Reapers is not widely known. None of the accepted characters will know the official story about Shepard and the Reapers; not even my Spectre knows. If people go on and on about the Reaper threat in a galaxy where it is little more than rumour, it breaks the universe a bit.

[hr]

- I would like to see a somewhat wide variety of characters in terms of race, gender, profession and abilities. Too many krogan battlemasters or human soldiers makes for a less exciting thread, and cuts down on the diversity and character development.

- Anyone who submits a character sheet must be willing to give full commitment to the RP, and they must have every intention to stay with it until its end. This means that if you join, you agree not to drop out unless you either give us advance warning, or you at least tell us that you're gonna bail. No-one likes it when people drop out partway through for no reason.

- I expect all participants to have a high level of competency in regards to spelling, grammar and post length. Anyone - and I mean anyone - who writes a post with a length of one line or less, with little detail or action, will be placed on a warning system. After three warnings, you are dismissed from the RP and your character will be either killed or ignored to death. In addition, I request that all posts are written in third-person, past tense.
- If I deem your posts to be not up to my standards, I as GM reserve the right to ignore them and their poster until the problem is resolved.
- Godmodders and/or godmoders will be removed from the RP upon repeated instances of the offence. I see little difference between the two and will punish instances equally as a result.

- In order for all participants to communicate effectively, I recommend that everyone intending to be a part of Mass Effect: Coalition downloads the instant messaging / conference-call program Skype and sets up an account with which to take part in out-of-character discussions. I and many of my Escapist friends have found this program to be just as effective, if not more so, than an Escapist-based usergroup. It also helps us to get to know each other better. I enjoy writing alongside people I know much more than working with people who are practically strangers.
- - If you already have a Skype account, send it my way once you're accepted.

- Romances are allowed between characters - in fact, I encourage them if they're done right. If, however, things begin to go a little too far into mature content, participants will have to keep it to a certain level. The Escapist doesn't allow mature or heavily-explicit content, even in the roleplaying forums.

The Steadfast, Recarius's starship, is a turian frigate re-purposed to house a multiracial crew in addition to the team to be assembled by Recarius. Outfitted with standard weapons and armour for the turian military plus a few extras, it also houses an armoury and training range, and caters to the needs of all races among the crew. The Steadfast's staff is currently made up of humans, turians and salarians; all have agreed to work in a multiracial environment.

Additional Note (Please read before showing interest):
I do not accept reserves for players except in rare circumstances. Post a character sheet - or say that you will have one up in the foreseeable future, then post a sheet later - and I will consider you, though I do not appreciate being kept waiting for one person when a large number of others are ready to go.

[HEADING=2]Accepted Characters[/HEADING]

Name: Recarius Kallidan
Age: 53 standard galactic years; born in 2131 CE.
Gender: Male
Race: Turian

Appearance: At 7'00" tall, Recarius towers over others close by; he is easy to pick out in a crowd because of this. His skin tone is a muted silvery-green colour; to contrast, his facial tattoos, which are representative of his home colony on Palaven, are white. They run across the right side of Recarius's face. His eyes are dark brown in hue.

Recarius can always be found wearing his tried-and-tested combat armour, which is designed to allow for both stopping power and flexibility; as a result it is of medium-level toughness, nothing too heavy. The armour is predominantly a bright silver colour with black and red as secondary colours: the colour scheme of Recarius's helmet is the inverse, black and red with silver trim. The armour incorporates weapon holsters, as all good armour should.

Personality: As with most turians who have seen a large amount of combat, Recarius is more than competent when it comes to analysing a battlefield situation. He has a high degree of leadership skill, having risen through the ranks during his military career. Off the battlefield, however, Recarius is less militaristic; working alongside the asari in the past has taught him when to use speech instead of bullets. Whether on the field of combat or not, Recarius holds honour and loyalty in high esteem, no matter the individual.

Although he knows what to look for in a balanced squad of soldiers under his command, Recarius is not easily impressed. The few that manage to get praise out of him when demonstrating their ability in a recruitment 'interview' are skilled indeed.

Recarius treats his quarian companion of three years, Jira'Kilaye nar Chatani, as both a friend, sibling and squadmate; the pair have trusted each other with their lives, though their relationship is "strictly business" as a human would put it, nothing more.

Profession: Citadel Council Spectre
Talents: Recarius was trained in the use of sniper rifles, submachine guns and pistols during his service in the turian military. During his time as a Spectre trainee, he was gifted a weapon mod that applies an electromagnetic charge to his guns. This assists in the elimination of synthetic threats such as geth and mechs. Recarius also knows his way around stealth tactics; his omni-tool contains programming to render him near-invisible for short periods of time, and the minifacturer within the omni-tool has been fitted to produce flashbang grenades to stun and confuse hostile forces. Recarius can also use his omni-tool to launch small plasma bursts at targets, which explode on contact and frequently burn anyone within the blast radius.

Recarius has been proven to be a competent leader of men, turian or otherwise, and has a fair bit of practice when it comes to forming and executing battle plans.

Possessions: Recarius's choice of weaponry is comprised of an M-12 Locust Submachine Gun, an M-6 Carnifex Hand Cannon and an M-29 Incisor Sniper Rifle. If he feels the need for greater firepower, he will also take a heavy weapon from the Steadfast's armoury. An omni-tool is incorporated into his armour to provide the use of abilities such as his cloaking device and flashbang grenades.

Biography: Born on Palaven, Recarius went through the standard military training common to all turians, beginning at age fifteen. He was singled out for officer candidacy after showing discipline and competence in his year of basic training. From there he rose through the ranks quickly, eventually earning himself command over a high-ranking unit. During a brief but brutal skirmish against the geth in Recarius's tenth year of service, he regrouped the small force that was left after a devastating ambush and led a counter-charge that tipped the balance of the battle, single-handedly crippling a Geth Prime and taking down two Destroyers with little more than careful placement of sniper shots.

It was this feat that earned Recarius the attention of the Spectres. They waited another five years, until he had the option of transferring to a Reserve unit, before accepting him into the Spectre consideration process. The Spectre to take Recarius under her wing was an asari named Niyessa T'Saya, a talented negotiator who also had considerable technological prowess. It was she who taught Recarius the ins and outs of being above the galaxy's laws, as well as sharing with him both the art of persuasion to prevent a volatile situation, and the secrets of stealth in the form of cloaking and stun grenades. Both of the latter are now produced from Recarius's specifically-modified omni-tool. He originally struggled with the concept of stealth over sheer firepower, but realised its effectiveness after Niyessa dismantled his carefully-planned defenses in a training exercise in all of two minutes, and ended the exercise with a flourish and a pistol to the back of his head. The extra six hundred years of experience she had on him had probably helped her with that, as he was quick to point out.

When Niyessa entrusted Recarius with his first solo mission, a hostage rescue situation in which batarians had held high-ranking executives captive until their demands were met, he succeeded admirably, walking out with all of the hostages alive and the few batarians that had surrendered peacefully. After seven more missions of increasing complexity, Recarius was finally admitted into the Spectres with Niyessa's glowing recommendation. His first instruction given by the Citadel Council themselves was to obtain a starship and crew for future endeavours. The ship Recarius chose for his use was a turian-designed frigate, the Steadfast. Other Spectres with whom he had discussed the matter, Niyessa included, preferred larger cruisers or small one-man vessels capable of FTL travel, but a frigate seemed like the logical choice to Recarius: small enough not to attract too much attention, but capable of packing a hefty punch when equipped with the right weaponry. Recarius purchased the vessel from the turian peacekeeping fleet, along with the resources needed to obtain some heavier firepower.

Deep into his new life as a Council Spectre, on the planet Illium, Recarius encountered a person whom he would soon befriend: the biotic quarian Jira'Kilaye nar Chatani. A young female quarian on her Pilgrimage, Jira was spending her time picking through junkyards and old decommissioned buildings to find something of value. Through the service provided by one of the many information brokers Illium offered, Recarius learned that a group of Blue Suns mercenaries were planning to ambush the quarian and rob her blind, maybe turn her over to the race known only as the Collectors for a nice sum of money and tech. Using the training drilled into him, Recarius launched an expertly planned counter-strike, destabilising the Blue Suns warband and driving them into infighting, thus preventing their ambush and capture of the quarian.

Upon informing Jira of the deaths of her would-be attackers, the quarian was immensely relieved, saying that she had had to fight her way out of situations like that in past years. She offered to accompany Recarius on his travels, telling him it was an honour to work alongside a Council Spectre.

Three years after Recarius and Jira joined forces, during which time Commander Shepard was initiated into the Spectres, pursued the rogue turian Saren Arterius and was listed as killed in action after the destruction of the Reaper Sovereign, reports began to reach the Citadel Council. Spectres were starting to go missing, or were being systematically killed off, their starships lost and followers missing or dead with them. They requested that three Spectres investigate: Recarius was one of them. As the most junior of the trio, he was tasked with a simple errand: gather information on forces hostile to the Citadel Council in the Terminus Systems and Attican Traverse, and report back to both the Council and the other investigating Spectres. The Council gave Recarius a dire warning, however: Jira, the Steadfast and its crew would not be enough to ensure his survival. Operating with little assistance made him vulnerable to... whatever it was that was eliminating the Spectres.

With that sombre thought in mind, Recarius turned the Steadfast towards the Terminus Systems and, using his connections to information brokers across the galaxy, sent out communiques to many different types of people who would be suited to assist him. Soldiers, scientists, biotics, even a couple of krogan battlemasters. Many would not respond, of course, but he had to try. Omega was the port of call, and there Recarius and Jira waited for someone to come calling.

Notes: As a Spectre, Recarius reports directly to the Council on certain matters, and will also report to the other two Spectres taking part in the investigation.

Name: Jira'Kilaye nar Chatani
Age: 27 standard galactic years; born in 2157 CE.
Gender: Female
Race: Quarian

Appearance: Jira stands at 5'6" tall. Her enviro-suit, predominantly coloured light blue and silver, appears to be standard design, seen among most quarians on their Pilgrimages. However, she has made a few modifications on her travels to better suit her needs. The suit is lightly armoured, capable of taking a few hits without the risk of a puncture - and by extension, the risk of infection - but Jira reinforces her defenses with her omni-tool to stay on the safe side. In addition, her enviro-suit has a cloak built into it which she wears over one shoulder or wraps around herself; it is purely aesthetic in nature, and may be removed at Jira's discretion. Being the somewhat thin fabric that it is, there are a few bullet holes, rips and suchlike in her cloak.

The enviro-suit shows many signs of repair; many secure patches and reinforcements can be seen all over it. A large number of holes were put in it as a result of Jira's crash and subsequent development of biotic abilities.

Personality: Jira is highly inquisitive, eager to learn more about people, places they've been and the creatures they've fought. There have been times in the past when she has passed up interesting finds to return to the Migrant Fleet as her Pilgrimage gift, in the firm belief that she can find something better-suited to the task. Because of her constant need to defend herself verbally to other quarians as a result of her being a biotic, Jira struggles occasionally with knowing her place in the present situation, sometimes giving orders when she shouldn't. Recarius always reminds her when she has overstepped her boundaries, though.

Jira tries not to use her biotic abilities unless absolutely necessary, as she believes that open biotic displays would scare people; there are very few biotic quarians as it is. Much of her behaviour mirrors that of Recarius, whom she has followed for the past three years, and the asari matrons who taught her the use of biotic abilities. Jira always reminds herself never to retaliate biotically, unless someone is trying to kill her.

When asked about her working relationship with the Spectre Recarius, Jira will always state the truth: that there is nothing special going on between them. She simply assists the Spectre in his investigations, and in exchange, he occasionally lets her visit worlds that might yield something of value for her Pilgrimage, such as Illium, the Citadel or Omega. She believes anything of high enough quality could show up at any place; it is just a matter of finding it.

Profession: Quarian Pilgrim
Talents: As a biotic, Jira can throw groups of humanoids across a room with a single punch to the air in front of her. She can also pin a target in place by creating shifting mass effect fields around them; the randomly changing field can disrupt a kinetic or biotic barrier when used. Technology-wise, Jira is a highly skilled pilot, and can hack her way into the controls of some starships or smaller craft. Her omni-tool can generate an additional layer of protection against enemy attacks, and she also uses an improved, more powerful version of Recarius's 'plasma blast' tech attack.

Jira is constantly improving on her skills; she tinkers with her omni-tool to produce different results, and practices her biotics every day.

Possessions: Like the Spectre she accompanies, Jira uses submachine guns and pistols: an M-9 Tempest SMG and an M-6 Carnifex heavy pistol are her weapons of choice. However, she has modified both to produce significantly differing results when compared to Recarius's weapons. Lacking the training in stronger weaponry like assault rifles or heavy weapons, Jira relies heavily on her omni-tool and biotics when in combat. She has little else to call her own, as she is a strong believer in the quarian system of only owning an item as long as it is useful to her; the exception to this, of course, is Jira's knowledge and training, her incorporeal possessions.

Biography: Jira was born aboard a starship, as are all quarians in the Migrant Fleet. The Chatani was a quarian ship like any other of its kind, unremarkable in appearance, population or status among the flotilla. Both of Jira's parents were engineers, constantly working to ensure the safe, stable operation of their home. When their daughter was old enough to work, they promptly began to teach her through the age-old philosophy of "learn by doing". Over the next few years Jira learned how to repair the essential components of a ship, and received instruction in piloting and navigation of multiple types of craft according to the species who designed them.

When she became a young adult among her people, Jira received the traditional Pilgrimage gifts: booster implants, survival training, and weapons and armour handed down from her parents. Once she was deemed ready, a declaration that thrilled the young quarian, she was given a small ship and sent out into the galaxy to complete her Pilgrimage. Having grown attached to life aboard the Chatani, Jira pined for home for the first few years away. But she knew she couldn't return without something better than that which she had taken from the Fleet.

During the first few years of her Pilgrimage, Jira travelled to many worlds and space stations, never stopping in one place for more than she felt was necessary. In most cities and settlements, she was wary of most non-quarians, as she often faced hostility towards her because of her race's scavenging habits. On Tuchanka in particular, this aggressiveness was increased purely because of the violent nature of most krogan.

Four years after she left the flotilla, Jira underwent a drastic turning point in her life. As she made an approach run to land and dock at a station on Illium, her craft was targeted and shot down by automated defence systems. The attack would have killed Jira had she not ejected in the ship's escape pod moments before the ship blew apart under fire. The pod was faulty through lack of proper maintenance, however, and its element zero core detonated on impact, ruining a fair portion of the pod. Jira's enviro-suit was by no means equipped to resist such heavy assault, and it received multiple punctures, some greater than others.

The crash-landing and subsequent detonation of the pod's eezo core caused Jira to black out. She woke in an unfamiliar building, similar to a hospital or clinic. It turned out that that was exactly what it was, as asari and human doctors explained what had happened to Jira, and that she had been unconscious for almost a week, during which time she had been constantly treated with differing types of medicine and antibiotics to combat the many infections in her system.

The ship she had been using had been recognised as belonging to a high-ranking member of a batarian terrorist organisation, which explained the automated response attack. She had contracted a large number of infections as a result of exposure to the atmospheres of Illium and the escape pod; she would eventually cure them in time and with high doses of purified medicines. But the most troubling news was also the strangest of them all: Jira's exposure to the small amount of element zero in the escape pod's core had caused permanent biotic manifestation in her system. She had been insanely lucky, both to survive the crash and its effects, and for the eezo to have done what it did instead of something much worse.

Jira spent a further three months in the Illium hospital, during which time she agreed to a one-time deal, in which she exchanged quarian tissue and blood samples for surgical implementation of biotic implants. This was a highly risky process for both her and the doctors who were overseeing the process, as they had never done this for a quarian before. Everything had to be perfectly sterile, down to the walls, and the doctors were forced to wear sealed enviro-suits when performing the surgery to avoid causing further complications for their patient. Once the procedures were finally completed, Jira went through many more recuperation sessions before she thought she was ready to leave. This included limited control over her new-found biotic abilities courtesy of an asari specialist, though Jira was told that she would have to find more advanced training elsewhere.

Once out of the hospital after promising to return and repay the facility in some way, Jira began to wander the city on Illium, realising that she was stranded now, with little money to buy passage to another world or station. And the most she could do with her biotic powers was push paper around with her mind. She struggled to get by on her own, living on the streets and in back alleys, and not for the first time she wished she was back on the Chatani. Eventually she talked her way onto a ship bound for the Citadel, during which time she was forced to fend off jeers and catcalls from the rude humans and batarians that ostracised her. She dared not even communicate with them, playing the part of a mute isolationist, until one of the batarian passengers caught her trying to lift a glass biotically. Surprised that she was biotic, the word quickly spread amongst the others and Jira became even more of a recluse, appearing in the company of others only to eat, during which time she used her own supplies of specifically purified turian food.

As soon as the ship docked on the Citadel, Jira was the first off in attempts to get away from that ship. She didn't plan on travelling with batarians again any time soon. Jira spent five years on the Citadel, having been welcomed by two asari matrons, Shenaya and Lissenia. The two gave her a home in their shared wards-level apartment, and biotic training in exchange for her running errands to other inhabitants of the wards and picking up deliveries. Within the time she spent on the massive space station, Jira mastered two aspects of her biotics after much struggling and effort. The abilities that the asari taught her were the simpler ones: creating direct impact strikes to hurl targets across a room, and using brief periods of concentration to cause great damage to an opponent. Instead of live test subjects, which would be ridiculous for such training, Shenaya and Lissenia provided practice dummies of varying shapes and sizes.

Once fully confident in her biotic prowess, and having learned to combine them with her already-present technical know-how, Jira chose to no longer intrude on the home of the two asari. They bought her a parting gift in the form of a small one-man ship, and Jira gratefully accepted it, though it could not be used for her Pilgrimage as she had not obtained it herself. She used the ship to continue her solitary travels, eventually returning to Illium. There she landed in a different city and started her search anew, looking through ruined starships, junkyards and condemned buildings. She found nothing... until she found someone. A turian Council Spectre by the name of Recarius. He claimed to have eliminated a group of Blue Suns mercenaries that were planning to ambush and capture her. Such a claim naturally demanded proof, and Recarius provided, leading her to the site where he had ambushed the ambushers. Relieved by the sight of the dead mercenaries, Jira explained that she had had to fight her way out of ambushes similar to that before. Her biotics had helped.

When Jira requested that she be allowed to accompany Recarius aboard the Steadfast, his personal ship, he gladly accepted, having needed a friend in his time as a Spectre free from training under a mentor. The biotic quarian and the turian Spectre spent the next three years working together, during which time Jira learned a lot from her new-found friend. She copied one of Recarius's tech attacks, the plasma explosion technique, and improved on it through her quarian know-how. When he saw that she had upgraded the blast on her own omni-tool, he showed her the way to properly guide a blast to its destination if the target was behind cover or out of sight. It turned out that Jira's tech-attack was more powerful than Recarius's, after experimentation on hostile mercenaries.

When Recarius received the mission to investigate activity in the Terminus Systems and Attican Traverse, Jira promised that she would accompany him, honoured to be working with the Spectre even though the quarian race wasn't part of the Citadel Council. She continues to work with him to the present day, assisting him with the set-up he required on Omega to meet with possible team members and introduce them to Recarius. Jira offered to be his bouncer or door-person, for lack of a better term, and he accepted, even going so far as to note on the messages he sent out that the quarian would be guarding the apartment.

Notes: Jira assists in the navigation or piloting of the Steadfast whenever necessary; one of the crew might be on break, injured or otherwise incapable of performing their regular duties.

Name: Salyna Thantius
Age: 250 years old, Maiden stage of life.
Gender: Female
Race: Asari

Appearance: Blue purple skin with darker areas that would resemble eyebrows, standard tendrils on top of the head but some patterns running along the line of these that resemble a beehive style of hexagons. Wears black armor of the Asari Commando at most times and stands at about 5'6". She is exhibits the normal look expected when other races of the asari, skinny and lithe with features most other races would find beautiful.

Personality: She deeply follows Asari traditions and could be described as almost fanatically religious if she were of most other races. She pushes down her urge to say a small prayer after every kill in battle in favor of a mass one after every mission. If she had not become a commando it would have been likely that she would have become a Justicar with her strong adhesion to much the same codes and rules.

Profession: Former Asari commando and bounty hunter.

Talents: Like all Asari she has biotic powers but she has split that ability with physical prowess. She has an aptitude for stealth and survival as her work as a commando often required both, Salyna's choice of weapons reflects this. All of her weapons are designed for close combat and to make use of her ability to knock an opponent off their feat to close distance. Her training was meant to help her and her squad take on very large groups with a much smaller force proficiently. To this end she has been taught how to use cryo ammo to freeze enemies, a singularity in order to knock down multiple opponents, and a shockwave that will travel in a straight line throwing enemies far apart from each other. (in other words the fully upgraded powers are cryo ammo, shockwave, and singularity.)

Possessions: She keeps black standard issue Asari Commando armor and carries an M-9 Tempest submachine gun, and M-6 Carnifex heavy pistol, and an M-23 Katana shotgun. Also on her person is a standard omni-tool, outside of that she tends to pack lightly.

Biography: Her early life was spent with her Asari and Turian parents living under this style of parenting gained her a patience and understanding with a very strong sense of loyalty and duty. This manifested early on as a strong loyalty to Asari codes of Justice and both species of her parentage. While her mother encouraged a bit of questioning to life her father was in favor of following strict codes of rule and ethics. She wouldn't realize the wisdom in her mother's teachings for some time, even though she carried them with her.

Entering into the Asari military was a natural fit for her, seeing as it espoused much of what her father had taught her. She focused on her training and soon rose through the ranks with her dedication to her training and her tendency to follow all orders that were not considered wrong by the Asari. She soon became a commando as her aptitude flourished, and for 100 years she served dutifully. Taking on missions that few outside the Asari government and the Council would have ever heard about.

During one mission however, her superior gave an order that clearly went against everything the Asari military had ever taught her. Extermination of an entire town including innocents. In order to uphold the conduct she had sworn to her family, the military, and her goddess all those years ago she went against her orders and ended up having to kill her squad to stop them from slaughtering innocents. She had tried to talk sense into them and she prayed for them but ultimately she could not follow that particular order.

This mission to a Batarian colony ultimately lead to her being honorably discharged. Seeing as she had followed higher orders but still had killed fellow comrades without first contacting command. It was lucky for her she had recorded the conversation with her squadmates and the ensuing fight, or else she probably would have been executed as a traitor. Instead the incident was covered up and she let out of the military on the condition she not breathe a word of it.
With her time in service up she left to become a mercenary and bounty hunter. Her skills came in handy, but this time she listened a bit more to her mother's words. She still followed closely to the words of the goddess and the Asari codes of justice, but otherwise every job and employer had to prove themselves to get her services. Should it happen to turn out they lied, she would pay them back for it, and it would always cost them dearly.

After a recent job she received a contact from Recarius. He knew things from her files that proved him to be speaking the truth when he said he was a spectre. Her record spoke for itself and she was asked to meet him. So now she finds herself looking to perhaps join another military black ops group, but this time she will have full right to listen to her mother and question the orders coming her way. It was the best of both worlds, how could she say no?

Name: Sur'Kesh Enthril Ity Garine Onak Morroth
Age: 27 standard galactic years; born in 2157 CE.
Gender: Male
Race: Salarian

Appearance: Morroth is tall, 6.8 feet or 207 cm. He has a slender body and long limbs, like most salarians. He has two horns sticking out at the top of his head. His skin color is a darker blue, with his eyes being black and dark green in hue. He doesn't look much different from the average salarian, which of course is a good thing in his line of work.

Morroth wears a light armor, which allows for speed and flexibility. It's mostly black, with white as a secondary color, mostly on the torso. The helmet goes in black and white. It has a weapon holster.

Personality: Morroth possesses the usual Salarian charateristics, such as a great observational capability. A mind and body that works fast, which makes him seem hyperactive.
He used to be an STG operative and is very good at infiltration. He can be quite the talker, but hasn't made many close friends, some would see him as a manipulator. He prefers to work alone and wouldn't stop at anything to get the job done. He still has a belief in doing the right thing.

Profession: Information broker

Talents: Morroth was trained as an STG operative, within the field of infiltration. He is a tech specialist, with skills such as decryption, hacking, electronics, overload and first aid. He has recieved specialist training with pistols too, during his years in the STG.
Morroth is used to working both in team and alone.

Possessions: He carries a heavy pistol, model M-6 Carnifex. He also has an omni-tool of one of the latest versions avaliable on the market. He carries some tech proximity mines with him too.

Biography: Morroth was born on Sur'Kesh. He spent his early life on his homeworld, studying and working. His life during that time was nothing special. He grew up, got employed by a salarian industry and worked with developing the salarian technology further. He didn't have a high position in the company and the job got boring after some time, which eventually lead him to the decision to volunteer for the salarian army. He underwent their training, which took some months. During the initial training he demonstrated qualities that could make him into a valuable STG operative, such as a manipulative personality and a good physique. He finished his initial training with the army.

He joined the STG after he had been in the army for a year. Once there he recieved more advanced training within the fields of espionage, scouting and information gathering.

He worked with the intelligence service and STG for several years. In his work at the STG he went to many different planets, with colonies. He even visited earth once.

Morroth resigned from the STG, after his leg got badly injured in a firefight. He still limps, even if it's healed up since he resigned.

Morroth decided to leave Sur'kesh behind and search for a new life. He bought a place on a ship that was headed towards the citadel. He had enough saved to rent a small room on the citadel in the wards district.

He knew he would eventually run out of credits, so he had to figure out a way to earn more. He decided to do so, the only way he actually knew and thought he would be alright with. He became an independent information broker. He had some run-ins with those working for the shadow broker, but managed to stay neutral and independent, by not staying in one place too long and using his talents.

He is known to some on the citadel, mostly those who he sells his information to. There are others who has heard of him too, especially after he was set up. He was supposed to break into a appartment and retrieve some information, which his client promised to pay good credit for. Unfortunately the owner, a human, of the appartment came back earlier than expected, to find Morroth still there. He wasn't alone either nor did he have any intention of letting Morroth walk awaye. A gunfight broke out between Morroth and the Krogan who the human had brought with him.

It wasn't long before others noticed the fight and eventually even C-sec arrived at the place. They didn't find Morroth at the apartment. He had managed to kill the Krogan and make his escape, though without what he originally came for. The human could give a good description of what the salarian who had broken into his apartment and killed his friend looked like.

Morroth searched for the one who had promised to pay him for doing it. He didn't find anyone, but he did find out that he had been set up, most likely by the Shadow Broker.

Morroth realised he had to lay low for a while. After some weeks he also realised that they weren't going to give up looking for him and he was running low on credits. He payed some smugglers to help him get out of citadel space, with the last credits he had. He didn't care where they were going, but they brought him to Omega.

Name: Brand Y'sella
Age: 960 Human Years
Race: Krogan
Sex: Male

Description: He wears the traditional Krogan Battlemaster armour emblazed with the colours of a long extinct gang. He stands at a terrifying 7' 2" and weighs over one and a quarter ton in his armour. His crest is a dark royal purple and his skin has a tan tinge to it showing his age slightly. He is described by other Krogan as the warrior most Krogans would give their left pair to be. He is pure Krogan, both his Mother and Father being pure Krogan before them and their parents pure Krogan before that. His Krogan Shotgun looks aged and has various names of women, planets and enemies scratched on its side. If one looks even closer they would see some of the names had a single stripe crossed through them.

Personality: There are those who hurt people because they don't know their own strength. Then there are those like Brand who hurt because they know their own strength. Brand doesn't hurt for the sake of hurting though; he hurts when he has a purpose and the problems of the purpose are usually solved immediately after. He has a thick skin mentally in addition the thick hide he carries on his body but if provoked, he will crush someone's skull without any feeling of remorse. He follows the Krogan 'belief' of having a weapon for every limb and then some, but his Shotgun has always been his favourite.

Brand prefers to sleep alone, that means no bunkmates. Those who have tried have seen the wrong end of the airlock. His things are not to be touched, in particular a few various trinkets kept in his gear locker. It is also known as unintelligent to ask about such things.

Profession: Bounty Hunter, Mercenary, Krogan Battlemaster

Skills: Like most Battlemasters, Brand believes that killing is an art and a skill, one honed by hundreds of years of practice. As a Battlemaster, he has a moderate grasp of biotics but prefers a gun in his hand instead. Thus his skills are less subtle and more to the point. Killing is something that Brand is good at and usually what he's hired to do.

Possessions: Brand doesn't have much for possessions outside of weapons. He carries a Heavy Krogan Shotgun, a M-5 Phalanx heavy pistol and a M-86 Mattock Heavy Assault Rifle. His armour is heavy armour with a light barrier over it. His final possessions appear to be nothing more than small children's toys, their age shown with faded paints and colours.

Bio: Brand was born much to his father and mother's pleasure, in the year 1226. The fact that he had already survived the genophage proved to the Krogan that he was destined to be powerful. When his biotic powers showed, while some remained sceptical and condemned him; the Clan leaders knew what an asset this Krogan could be. His father, a Battlemaster trained his son in the art of war, showing him that the Battlemaster was worthy of ten of any other race's troops.

Brand was born during a time that Turians were very much a threat to their safety. Raids by gangs and soldiers alike made life hell for he and his tribe. Eventually it became severe enough that the Leader of their clan, his father, fought the Turians head on in combat. It was not this that ended his life though but instead a betrayal in their own ranks. Brand's father was killed by his right hand man in a power grab for control of the tribe. He returned, alone speaking of a Turian attack. He was sure to let Brand know the vivid details of his father's demise.

Brand stole a cruiser from his clan, a grave crime due to the rarity of such a craft. He took to space, finding the first Turian Vessel he could find, he was sure that this was the craft responsible for his father's death. He took no prisoners, no civilian, guard or shipmate survived and when Brand's lust for blood had destroyed them all; he jettisoned the craft into the nearest sun, convinced he had avenged his father's death; although at the cost of his own name.

He turned from his old life and sought refuge on Omega. It was there that he met the Krogan that would become Patriarch. He took work at Afterlife, as a bouncer and personal guard to that Krogan. He also began an affair with a Dancer by the name of Inita K'laun. While the two appeared to be passionately in love, it would soon end with Intia's departure from the station and Brand's return to the hulking mass, known only for being behind the scenes. While Brand laughed about the relationship when asked about it, a shadow could be seen crossing behind his eyes when pressed. It was a sensitive subject and many patrons found they pushed that button a few too many times.

He continued to work at Omega until Aria found herself on the scene. Some primeval instinct told him that it was time to cut ties and travel again. At this time he was nearing the middle time of his lifetime and yearned for female companionship though he knew he could never return to Tuchanka and so he found himself in the arms of another Asari, this one went by the name of Lavfero. The two settled down and had a child that Brand found himself training. Though his daughter had the body of an Asari he taught her everything he knew about combat, so that she could look after herself once her own maiden stage took hold.

His daughter left soon after Brand turned 600 years old, her Maiden stage taking hold, her taste for adventure fresh. He and his mate, once their daughter had left, had no reason to stay together anymore and between Brand's lust for the galaxy and Layfero's desire to sire more children, the two broke ties and once again Brand found himself on his own again.

He picked up a ship off of Omega, using the last of the money he had and began a life of contracting small jobs that needed a bigger presence than most jobs needed. Of course with greater danger, greater pay was needed. Brand only really drew attention to himself after taking a job for the Shadow Broker.

It was on a planet deep inside the Termius System; the Shadow Broker had not been paid for information given. Brand infiltrated the hideout of the up and coming gang. The Blue Suns had just gone under a major leadership change and Brand was using the chaos to pose as a new recruit. During his first night, he moved quickly eliminating two guards before being detected. He blasted his way through 3 more guards before a well placed sniper round took down his shields. Defenceless and without his weapons; those taken from him when captured, he faced down the new leader. He was shot twice and left bleeding on the floor as the rest of the Blue Suns began to pack. His first heart had stopped and one of his lungs was punctured in the attack.

The human must have not been familiar with the physiology of the Krogans though, as Brand's second heart continued to beat. Using a biotic Charge he launched himself at the nearest Blue Sun, taking the merc's weapon with him. He fired twice into his head, spun and held it at the leader's head. Although he wished to kill the man for wounding him, Brand needed the cash more. He took the credits owed to the Shadow Broker and left the planet. He received his payment and the Broker put his name on the Market. It was much easier to find work after that.

Name: Raz?jin nar Rayya

Age: 35 standard galactic years; born in 2150 CE.

Gender: Male

Race: Quarian

Appearance: He stands around 5?8 with the stander uniform of quarians on their Pilgrimages. Though with his line of work he upgraded it so he can take large amounts of hits and not worry about his suit opening up and he dies of a sickness.

Personality: After the death of his group he became more of a loner and felt like it was all his fault. When he takes a few sides jobs around Omega, he would shoot first and ask question later. He normally doesn't want to get to know anyone so he won't feel the same pain like he did before. Though once you earn his trust and get to know him he pretty loyal. He would gladly risk his live for his comrads since he wasn't able to during the Blue Suns attack. He also feel shame for spending his life for his Merencary band instead of trying to find ways to help his people which he views as the greatest dishonor he could have done.

Class: Soldier

Talents: Improve Incendiary Ammo, Improve Incendiary Cyro Ammo, Heavy Throw

Possessions: The only possession he carries is his weapons. He enjoys the M-8 Avenger and has customized it to his liking of shooting more accurate. He also carries the M-23 Katana Shotgun for close quarter combat. He also carries the M-3 Predator for his heavy pistol sidearm. He is a skill shooter with these three and has used them ever since he first got them during his training with his mercenary group.

Biography: Raz'jin started his journey in the low underworld of Omega. Down on his luck, he was trying to look for work to get something to eat. He saw a new mercenary group forming up under the name of the Oblivions. The Oblivions were a number of ex-military forces and other mercenary who got tired with how their groups work. So they took in Raz'jin as they needed a tech expert. They slowly train Raz'jin to handle weapons, which he got a hang of with in the first few months.

During one of the early mission, Raz'jin took a hit badly and nearly died. Though it wasn't from the shot but more from his suit open up and he was getting sick. The medic of the Oblivion helps him and within a month he was over his sickness and ready to return to duty, though soon after he earn enough money he upgrade to a better suit so he can take more hits. They work a number of different jobs from security work to assassination of other gangs. As he rose in the ranks of the Oblivions, he was offer biotic upgrades due to his achievements in battle. He gladly accepted them as he could use it if something gets to close to his liking.

Though all that came in a end when the Blue Suns got tired of the Oblivions taking their clients and would rather not have a fourth mercenary group forming. The Oblivion members were killed one by one by bombings or ambushing them when they were alone. All that was left after a few months was Raz'jin. He was ready for the hit and wanted it so he can join his friends in the after-life. Though that never came to him as he got a recording from the Blue Suns that they were going to let him live so he could spread the word of what happen to his group as well to be made a example of. Now Raz'jin lives alone and hardly talks to the others. Though word still gets around of who he is and what he can do with a good rifle in his hands.

The only reason he doesn't feel like returning home is due to living to much for himself and his friends and not enough for his people. A deep shame he still holds close to him. Now he tries to make up for it by offering any Qurian he see some help in any way he can. Though when he does feel like returning, he would only do it once he feel at peace within himself. Though he think that will only happen once he gets his revenge against the Blue Suns for what they did. Then he can return and use his training as well as credits he earn from missions to better equip and train the soldiers to protect themselves from outside danger.

After he came back from his job from selling ship parts he got a recording of joining up with a Specter. Not sure what it would come of it but he decides to join up. As he was getting tired of his dead-end job and wanted to feel action again. He also wishes secretly that they would get to see some Blue Suns so he can return the favor to them for what they did.

Hopefully this is good. If you need me to change anything let me know.

Edit: Did a few changes and added things. I'll probably go over it more once I have time.

I see a few issues here:
- A few simple spelling and grammatical errors here and there. I'm sure those could be corrected.
- The talents are a problem. Firstly, I stated in the Class section of the sheet template that you can only take skills from Mass Effect 2, so Combat Armour and First Aid are both out of the question. Second, your talents are supposed to be evolved forms of the powers: Incendiary Ammo can be upgraded. Third, you didn't select a power outside of the Soldier class to build more onto the character. As an aside, all characters can still use the rest of their class's powers as well; you aren't restricted to those three.
- A surname might be helpful. Which ship did this quarian come from? Has he completed his Pilgrimage? Without details the character is less substantial, straying into Mary Sue or Trenchcoat territory.
-The personality could be expanded on a little more.

Additional Note: The only reason I spoilered my characters' biographies is because they are extensive. A shorter bio doesn't really need it.

Name: Jonah Castel

Age: 33

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance: If he were healthy, Jonah would walk tall and proud at about 6'2, but he nearly constantly walks with a hunch and a slouch, making him seem much shorter. He has reddish-brown hair that is quickly turning gray, and a gaunt, sunken face like he barely eats, covered by graying stubble. The rest of his body bears this out, skin stretched tautly over bone and thin muscle. He looks far older than his thirty-three years, looking closer to fifty or sixty. Typically, he'll dress in civilian clothes, although his hobo attire has since been discarded and replaced with real person clothes. When expecting a combat situation, he wears light armor with a camo pattern depending on the environment.

Personality: Jonah tries to be nice, but the world just doesn't want to let him. He does his best, but the echoes from the past follow him no matter where he runs and he can't get away from them, they constantly pursue. He's learned to shut them out, silence them and ignore them over the years, but whenever things get too stressful, the voices come back, taunting him with his sins and failures. When this happens, Jonah has a habit of becoming dangerous, lashing out at the nearest target with biotic strikes of terrifying power. And sometimes Jonah talks to a person no one else can see, a man he calls Tobias. But he usually only does that in private.

Profession: Unemployed Hobo

Talents: Jonah's biotic powers lend less towards the strike enhancement of many biotics and more towards full telekinesis. Besides being able to manipulate, lift, and throw objects and creatures with extreme force, Jonah is also capable of generating telekinetic barriers around his person. While these barriers require extreme concentration and can only remain active for a short time - seconds under heavy fire, a few minutes under less strenuous conditions, like an impromptu umbrella or keeping a bubble of breathable air while in a room full of toxins or ash.

Possessions: His clothes and biotic amp. Aside from that, he owns nearly nothing, not even an omnitool. If his squadmates insist that he carry physical weapons, he'll take a light pistol or submachine gun from the armory.

Biography: Born on Mars about seven months after the catastrophic reactor meltdown of the transport On Eagle's Wing in Martian orbit, Jonah was one of the earliest Human Biotics, and showed remarkable signs of powers from a young age. At the age of nine, he was shipped to Jump Zero for biotic training, and spent the next seven years there until 2167, when the strenuous mental environment and his L2 implants caused Jonah's psyche to fracture. He washed out of the training and was sent to a psychiatric facility for others like him in orbit around Neptune.

For five years he remained in that institution as they tried to patch his mind back together with antipsychotic drugs and therapy, to some success. Around his twenty-first birthday, he was released from the institution. While he remained on the antipsychotic medication he was considered no danger to himself or others.

Instead of elation at his departure from the facility, Jonah felt only apathy, a deadness inside from the drugs dampening both his powers and his unstable psyche. He soon left Sol and headed for the frontier, eventually coming to the Citadel, where he got a job as a bag boy in a market, eventually working his way up to cashier after two years. At the age of 24, his life pretty much ground to a halt.

On the salary of a cashier, getting his antipsychotic medication was a stretch, particularly while trying to pay for rent, utilities, and food. Something had to give.

So he gave up the drugs. And for a time, all was well. Better than well, excellent. Within three months of stopping the drugs, he felt happy and energetic. He was seeing a lovely young woman, was promoted to department manager at the market.

Then, about a year and a half after stopping the drugs, the nightmares started happening. The visions, the twisted fragments of his broken psyche rising to the surface in a screaming cavalcade of fear and loss and despair. His biotic powers began returning in greater strength than ever before. The good times were at an end. His psychological breakdown resulted in the firing from his job, and he soon found himself living on the streets of the Wards, surviving on what scraps he could scavenge.

For six years he lived like this, learning how to use his powers with both precision and extreme force. He mostly used it for theft, lifting a piece of food or some money. But in 2183, during the attack on the Citadel by Saren Arterius and his armada, the crazy hobo that stank of cheap liquor, cigarettes, and filth saved hundreds or thousands of lives when he wiped out a Geth assault squad that was systematically exterminating any and all biological life larger than a cockroach. Instead, they found one of the most powerful (and crazy) human biotics.

They didn't really stand a chance.

After the attack was over, witnesses to the battle between Jonah and the Geth reported him to the media, and he was soon tracked down as part of a piece on the persecution and mistreatment of L2 Biotics. When his heroism was recounted on this program, Spectre Kallidan was watching, and sent the mad biotic an offer. He took it. A day later he was on his way to meet him.

Notes: Due to his mental problems, Jonah does not really serve a place on the ship's crew other than his remarkable power with biotics.

I hopefully will have a sheet up in around 6 hours. If you get enough people before then that's fine, don't wait for me. Just throwing in a heads up for interests sake. I would do it now, but sadly i'm at work and only have a phone to post with.

Also how many players are you looking for?

It's fine; I don't think I'll get a flurry of sheets in the next six hours. And I'm not sure how many people I'm looking for just yet: it all really depends on the quality of the sheets people submit.

Name: Sina Odisa
Age: 231 standard galactic years born in 1953 CE, Maiden stage
Gender: Female
Race: Asari

Appearance: Sina is around 5ft 8 and has a deep sapphire blue skin complexion. she usually wears an extra light skintight armor, only capable of taking a few hits before failing. How ever the shields are tougher than normal to help keep Sina alive during combat with extra protection provided by her Power tech armor. She prefers the lighter armors due to their mobility and stealthiness.

On top of the armor, Sina wears the Asari consort's acolyte dress. On her face, she has white markings running down the sides of her face, accenting it perfectly. This gives Sina some respect and influence wherever she goes, not to mention hides the deadly biotic master under it.

Personality: After years of Biotic training and working for the Asari Consort. Sina has learned an impressive amount of self control over body language and emotions. There are times however when she needs to vent and let everything that was built up inside of her out.

During combat, Sina is level headed and thinks clearly. she prefers close quarters and hand to hand combat which is a rarity nowadays, but has become a decent shot with her heavy pistol.

Sina has also become a decent spy, using her mindset to be able to get into quiet a few placeswithout raising suspicion and gather intelligence. she wouldn't dare to try and sabotage or assassinations because she feels they're too risky.

Class: Adept
Talents:
Singularity [in class upgraded to heavy singularity]
Shockwave [in class upgraded to Heavy Shockwave]
Tech armor [Out of class upgaded to power armor]

Possessions: Sina doesn't bring much with her. Her personal items are her Acolyte dress, acolyte makeup and a letter given to her by the Asari consort, which she keeps on her at all times.
Military wise, she keeps her light armor and an old Harpy pistol, pre thermal clip era. it has a heat sink but over heats quickly and packs quite a punch.

Biography: Sina was born on the citadel to an Asari mother and a Turian father. she was brought up by them until age 12 when she was sent off to a school to hone her biotic powers. she stayed at this school until she was 30 and she left for the citadel again. Sina, still being young and adventurous, got a job at a club called Archos. she worked here for about forty years, becoming the top dancer there. After Fist took over the club, Sina left. she got a job as a dancer at another club on the citadel and worked there until she was 100.

Sina had known about the Asari consort Sha'ira, becoming intrigued by her, Sina begged Sha'ira to take her in as an Acolyte. After Sina gave herself willingly to Sha'ira, did The Asari consort finally take her in. It was a slave agreement, but in words not text.

Sina was tasked with the more "intimate" needs of the clients due to her previous profession. over time she became friends with Sha'ira and was trained in emotional control by the consort. Everything was fine until the Geth invasion of the citadel.

Before the invasion happened, Sina started to pick up rumors off the clients that something like this would happen so she started to wear her armor to work and took on less "intimate" clients to avoid drawing suspicion.

When the invasion started, Sina was ready. She held off the Get that were assaulting the consorts offices and escorted Sha'ira and the rest of the acolytes to the Consorts private ship. she fought through two squads of Geth and one geth destroyer to get them to the ship.

After the assault, new of the acolyte who saved the consort spread almost as quick as Shepard defeating the Geth invasion. no one knew the name of the acolyte but the rest of the acolytes and Sha'ira. Sha'ira made the rest of the acolytes swear not to give up Sina's name to anyone.

A year after the attacks, The consort heard that a specter she was fond of was assembling a team and
wanted to give the man a gift, a sign of respect. she just had to break it to Sina now.

Notes: Sina was unofficial property of the consort while she was working for Sha'ira.

Name: Ryan Warrick

Age: 29

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance: If it wasn't for his gleaming white hair, Ryan would go by unnoticed by almost anyone he meets. He is a Caucasian male who stands just over 6 feet tall (6'1 to be exact), has dark blue eyes and a somewhat refined athletic build to his body, more so toned and defined than overly muscular. Ryan also wears a necklace with a design that matches the tattoos on the underside of his arms, the tattoos seem somewhat tribal being that they look to be a somewhat random assortment of shapes and symbols. But these tattoos are usually covered up by his long-sleeve shirts that he wears to keep himself toasty warm. He is usually found wearing black or darker colored clothes in order to offset his bright colored hair.

Personality: Ryan is a rather outspoken and blunt person who likes to tell people when they're beginning to "overstay" their welcome in his presence. He tends not to care too much about what people think of him or his actions. Ryan is usually cheerful and upbeat when with his friends or colleagues but tends to have a short fuse to those who are intolerant of others, or in general are what he likes to call "dirt-bags"

Class: Sentinel

Talents:
From Class: Power Armor (upgrade of Tech Armor), Heavy Warp (upgrade of Warp)
Outside of Class: Improved Cryo Ammo (Upgrade of Cryo Ammo)

Possessions: Ryan is a fan of accurate weapons so his main weapon of choice is the M-6 Carnifex Hand Cannon heavy pistol, but he also likes his M-12 Locust for when things get a little too hectic and he needs to keep his enemies on their toes.

Biography: Ryan was born and raised on Saturn's moon, Titus. His family was by no mean poor, but they were far from wealthy. As a boy Ryan dreamed of his family being famous and wealthy so that they would never have to worry about money again. Ryan thought that a great way to gain recognition for his family was to join the Alliance military that had training grounds on Titus. Ryan seemed to be a natural marksman but lacked the patience and diligence to be a sniper. He was just a normal soldier until he decided to take a risky gamble with biotic implants to enhance his fighting capabilities. He was one of the lucky ones, only having a few headaches every now and again and was thankful he didn't end up like some of the others who had signed up for the implants, either dead or so mentally deranged that they had to be put on lock down for both their safety and the safety of the troops stationed on Titus. After his implants Ryan was trained to become a Sentinel, a Jack of all trades he thought. He figured that he would be helpful in almost any situation which would help him gain the status that he so desired. During a live training exercise Ryan risked his life by jumping on a live grenade, his Tech Armor was able to absorb the majority of the blast but he was still wounded badly. He spent nearly a month in the infirmary recovering, but he had finally achieved what he wanted. Glory. He had become a hero for risking his life to save his fellow troops in what was officially declared a "horrendous accident". One of the higher ups in the academy noticed this act of selflessness and sent his profile off to Recarius to examine. He figured he could use someone who was so fierce-fully loyal to those around him that he would actually die to save them. He sent the administrator of the academy to release Ryan from the infirmary and get him to him as soon as possible. When Ryan learned of this he jumped at the opportunity to work with Recarius, he had always wondered what it would be like to work with a Spectre. In all his years at the academy Ryan never thought that he would ever get a chance like this.

Please tell me if any changes are needed. I do apologize for any spelling or grammatical errors but I've been up all night working and am very tired at the moment

[HEADING=2]General Announcement:[/HEADING]

Every character that has been submitted, plus one of my own characters, is a biotic in some way or another. And some don't exactly fit within the standard parameters of biotics. I feel that I may have to place a limit on the number of biotic characters.

There are also some things in the biographies of a few characters that don't add up. I may send out PMs at a later time.

Other than that, keep calm and carry on. =)

Name: Kole Yossar

Age: 28

Gender: Male

Race: Drell

Appearance: Kole stand 5'11.5" He weighs 185 pounds. His skin is dark blue, with black accents. His eyes are black like all Drell, and he has a pronounced jaw and a strong chin. He has a very small crest on the top of head, peaking at a quarter of an inch, while the crests along the side of his head are much more pronounced. Casually he prefers to dress in lighter clothes, often loose fitting shirts and pants. His favored armor is a variant of Rosenkov Material's Light Titan armor, which is dark blue with, with dark gray urban camouflage, the armor contains augments for greater stealth capabilities, such as sound dampening and tactical cloak. During missions he also wears a pair of circle lenses goggles which compensate for his eye implants, allowing him to discern between lower energy light wavelengths better.

Personality: Kole is a part of the special breed who use the Drell philosophy and religion to guide themselves as killing machines. Kole agreed to become an assassin at young age, having grown up in a Drell community he saw no problem with killing to fulfill his part in the Compact. However as he grew older and as his missions took him to different parts of the solar system, he met people with different ways of thinking. Over time his faith in his religion has cracked, causing him to question the idea that he is only a tool. Superficially Kole tries to convey the image of a cold, emotionless assassin, however Kole true emotions and feelings are always quick to seep through the mask.

Profession: Hit-man

Talents Kole's greatest asset is his mastery of stealth. With the smallest distraction he can disappear, only to re-appear a moment before dispatching an enemy. His armor is equipped with systems to allow him to become completely invisible for periods of time. At a young age Kole received implants that would allow him to see the hyper-fast communications of the Hanaar, by increasing the rate at which his eyes could capture information, a side-effect was that with concentration, Kole could actually slow down his perception of time, allowing him to observe the battle-field; and then react with split-second reflexes and amazing precision. Kole has trained himself to enter this state as a reflex, but can only sustain if for a few seconds before risking migraines. He has programmed his omni-tool to be able to create small clouds of heavy static interference which can strip away a single enemies shields in one attack.

In combat Kole's prefers to use his pistol, he prefers the freedom of movement it offers over the sniper, and the it's finess over the Sub-machine gun. Kole is also skilled at hand-to-hand combat and in wielding a knife, which he uses to dispatch opponents stealthily.

Possessions: Beyond fairly mundane things like clothes; Kole keeps a small collection of paper books, an empty fishbowl, and a small collection of religious idols (not all of them Drellian). Kole like several other Drell, has received ocular implants that allow him to communicate flawlessly with Hanaar, (and see ultra-violet light), at the cost of needing specialized goggles to be able to discern between low energy colors, like red and black. Kole also keeps and extensive journal via his omni-tool, while he's careful to avoid recording details about his mission, he still keeps it encrypted.

Kole uses a silenced M-6 Carnifex, and an M-97 Viper. He also has a specialized combat knife, it consist of several metal plates that can re-arrange themselves into various configurations depending on the input, the plates are capable of forming an edge which is capable of cutting through most types of armor. The knife is capable of cutting through most armors, and because of it's adaptability and silence is Kole's favorite method of killing.

Born on Kahje to a single mother, his father died less than a year before from early onset Kepral's syndrome. His mother worked in a liaison's office and often brought Kole along, and so growing Kole was frequently exposed to the Hanaar. Even at a young age he wanted to work for the Hanaar just as his mother did, it was because of this desire he wanted to get the bioluminescent communications surgery despite only being a child.

Originally, the one thing that set Kole apart was his lack of an eidetic memory, causing him to be a concern in the community. At the age of 7 he underwent ocular implant surgery to be able to understand the Hanaar's rapid bioluminescent language. After the surgery something strange began to happen, with the help of the high-speed implants, Kole could perceive time as if it were passing at a slower rate, and make it appear to be standing still. This talent brought him to the attention spiritual leaders in the Drell and Hanaar who agreed that this gift was from a higher power. The Hanaar saw promise both in his reflexes and his lack of an eidetic memory, something which often resulted in their agents being burdened with heavy consciences. They saw an opportunity for an agent who would be living completely in the moment who would never question their past actions, and would always be ready to kill. They offered to train him, and turn him into an instrument of their will, eager to fulfill his piece in the compact Kole accepted. He spent the next six years in rigorous training before being sent on his first assignment, the assassination of a minor crime boss. From then on the Hanaar began sending Kole on missions around the galaxy, he went to the farthest reaches of the Terminus systems, and to the very center of Citadel space. Whoever the his employers told him to kill, he killed, no exceptions. As time went on he began displaying significant cunning and guile in how he got his target to expose themselves. Notable instances; where when he altered a banks files so that they repossessed the strong-hold of an Illium business man; putting himself in a near-death state so that he could be smuggled in crate, in order to infiltrate as tight blockade. He also earned a reputation for his reflexes, he's been known to take advantage of incredibly small windows to take his shot, hitting people through traffic, while base jumping, and his greatest assassination of all time "The Inter-Stelar Bank Shot."

On a mission to assassinate a Cerberus operative who was attempting to sabotage a Hanaar trading conglomerate, Kole tracked him to the Pax nebula as he was attempting to escape to the Relay via a fighter-craft. A dog-fight ensued in-which the operatives ship was damage to the point of him having to jettison his canopy and rely on his EVA suit. Kole however had suffered damage to his ships weapons and engines, crippling his ability to give chase. As the gap between them widened, Kole switched tactics, rather than pursue his target, he turned to bring himself parallel to the approach path to the Mass Relay. With several hundred miles in-between them, Kole jettisoned his canopy, loaded his sniper rifle, and fired. As the bullet hurtled along, the Operative activated the relay. At the jump, the slug was only inches away, close enough to be carried along with the ship through the Mass Effect corridor. On the other end, after 2039.4 lightyears, 219 miles, and four inches, the bullet found it's mark, tearing through the EVA suit, killing the target through exposure to an absolute vacuum. Forensics would later identify the time of the kill through by using the Operative's omni-tool, noting that the shot hit almost instantly after the jump. Unofficially it was the longest small-arms shot ever recorded, after a brief media buzz where it gained the technically incorrect name of "Inter-stelar bank shot", the story faded to myth due to the lack of information. However in the intelligence community Kole began to make a name for himself as news that he had pulled the trigger slowly spread.

Eventually the Hanaar would let Kole go when he was twenty six. Their belief that he would grow to be unburdened by his memories proved self-fulfilling. As time went on Kole seemed to become more willing to kill and it was noted that his methods where getting riskier. Toward the end Kole would almost exclusively kill his targets with his knife, when asked why he stated it was what felt right at the moment. While not displaying any sign that he took joy in taking life, his employers feared he was beginning to lose his notion of the value of life. It was therefore decided that if he continued working for the Hanaar Kole's lack of inhibitions would begin to present a risk to himself and his employers.

Kole would continue working for the Hanaar until he was twenty six, when they offered him the chance to leave their services. According to them he has sufficiently fulfilled his part in the Compact. By this time Kole was having doubts about his place in society, doubts which others assigned to his lack of an eidetic memory. The older he seemed to get the more unsatisfied with his role as an agent, so he gladly accepted. For the past two years he's been living off of his savings, traveling the galaxy on vacation, his visits have been primarily to spots of religious significance. His travels have been the least violent times he can remember since he was thirteen, having only had to kill three people in two years, each for different reasons. While on Earth visiting Saint Peter's Basilica, he received a message from Recarius. After an immediate response, he left for Omega.
Notes: Most Drell have eidetic memories, which allows them to recall past events almost perfectly, right down to practically being able to relive them. Kole does not have this trait due to a recessive gene, this causes himself and others to blame his instabilities on not being able to reflect on his past perfectly.

[HEADING=2]General Announcement #2:[/HEADING]

A significant change has been made to the character sheet template. To allow for a wider array of characters and skills, I have dropped the class and power system and replaced it with something a little more free-form. You will find corresponding changes in my two character sheets to help you with this.

As an aside, there are also a couple of small changes to my characters besides those of the profession and talents.

Sina has also become a decent spy, using her mindset to be able to get into quiet a few places without raising suspicion and gather intelligence. she wouldn't dare to try and sabotage or assassinations because she feels they're too risky.

Profession: Acolyte and unofficial body guard for the Asari consort Sha'ira

Talents: Sin can manipulate her emotions to a high degree and is a biotic. Being an acolyte, she can afford the highest quality of implants. While being stealthy is her preferred style, in a pinch she can plow through enemies with relative ease. she has perfected a few talents, Heavy shockwave, heavy slam and heavy singularity. Sina also has power tech armor to help defend herself.

Due to her control of emotions, Sina can be extremely convincing even when she's flat out lying. Also, while dancing and then working for the consort, Sina has gained some special talents to "relieve stress" and can be very "influential" when dealing with people.

Possessions: Sina doesn't bring much with her. Her personal items are her Acolyte dress, acolyte makeup and a letter given to her by the Asari consort, which she keeps on her at all times.
Military wise, she keeps her light armor and an old Harpy pistol, pre-thermal clip era. it has a heat sink but over heats quickly and packs quite a punch. she also has a basic omni-tool to control banking and her Tech armor.

Sina had known about the Asari consort Sha'ira, and decided to schedule an appointment. after the appointment, Sina had become intrigued by the consort, Sina begged Sha'ira to take her in as an Acolyte. After a few more visits and month's of passive requests Sha'ira accepted Sina into her acolytes

Sina was tasked with the more "intimate" needs of the clients due to her previous profession. over time she became friends with Sha'ira and was trained in emotional control by the consort. Everything was fine until the Geth invasion of the citadel.

Sina wanted to protect the consort, almost as a family member would protect another, so she stashed her armor and pistol at The consorts chambers. On days when her clients were less intimate, she'd wear her armor under the dress, to be at the ready when the time was calling for it.

When the invasion started, Sina was ready. She held off the Geth that were assaulting the consorts offices and stood by Sha'ira's side while they escorted the rest of the acolytes to the Consorts private ship. they fought through two squads of Geth and three geth destroyer to get them to the ship.

While Sha'ira was extremely proud, she didn't want to have another Asari viewed as her equal. After the assault, news of the acolyte who stood with the consort spread almost as quick as Shepard defeating the Geth invasion. no one knew Sina's name but the rest of the acolytes and Sha'ira. Sha'ira made the rest of the acolytes swear not to give up Sina's name to anyone.

A year after the attacks, The consort heard that a specter she was fond of was assembling a team and
wanted to give the man a gift, a sign of respect. she just had to break it to Sina now.

Name: Karo Magmus
Age: 37 GSY (Galactic Standard Years)
Gender: Male
Race: Drell

Appearance: At 5"5, Karo is short for a Drell and was often picked on by the larger Drell. Koro has a light green/aqua skin hue, but little of his skin can be made out through his thin leather suit that covers his entire body. He wears soft soled boots and dark yellow visors over his black eyes. He is not very bulky, but neither is he lean.

Personality: As a result of being tormented his whole life, Karo is withdrawn and reclusive. He does however value honour and respect above all, and will not kill innocents no matter what the pay. Whilst naturally shy, he does not shun social contact. Karo prefers to strike silently but deadly, slinking back into the night without another trace. At a young age he was beaten half to death by a larger Drell, and as a result his right eye is unusable. This forces him to resort to a visor in order to see, but it cannot match the skills of normal eye.

Profession: After leaving Kahje, Karo learnt the dark ways of the Assassin.
Talents: Karo specializes in long ranged rifles such as sniper rifles, and short range omni-tool assassination. Karo utilizes his visor to scan his environment, and it features both infa-red and night vision modes. Karo has a keen eye for detail, and can often detect small anomalies in his surroundings. He is not however very confident at persuading people to his way, and often gets into fights that could have easily been avoided.

Possessions: Karo utilizes a M-97 Viper sniper rifle, a omni-tool with blade attachment, a set of smoke grenades attached to his belt and his visor.

Biography: Karo was born on Kahje to Drell and Human parents. His father was an officer with the Alliance Fleet, and left shortly after he was born. His mother mysteriously vanished when Karo turned 10, and he was subsequently placed under Hanar care. Although his foster parents treated him well, he was bullied and picked on and never made too many friends. After graduating school, he left Kahje for the Citadel on a passing merchant ship. Karo stowed aboard, but was found by the ships captain who, intrigued by this strange young Drell, employed him as a cook. Karo was grateful for not being kicked off the ship, and had great respect for the captain.

Unfortunately, the ship was decimated by pirates on it's way to the citadel and Karo was left as the only survivor. The pirates took him prisoner and transported him back to their base, a small mining facility located on an asteroid. Karo was kept in captivity for roughly two weeks before an Alliance fleet raided the base. The fleet freed Karo and was taken to the Citadel. On arrival at the Citadel, Karo searched around for job opportunities. Eventually he found one working as a snitch to a small time crime syndicate. A shady man one day discovered Karo working, and took a quick liking to him. The shady man brought Karo to his hidden assassin school on Omega, and he was taught by some of the best in the business. Karo served the man for ten years before going off on his own, looking for adventure. Several years ago Karo was hired to assassinate a high ranking human ambassador. Koro preformed this feat admirably and caught the eye of several third parties. He recently received a transmission from a strange Turian Spectre. Koro went to meet the Turian at a small Omegan apartment, unaware of the dangers to follow....

EDIT: I have skype, my name is Supertegwyn (I don't own a webcam or mic so I just use it for IMS)
EDIT2: I will revise the character sheet now.
EDIT3: Oh god I didn't notice there was another Drell character. I feel like I copied him now D:
EDIT4: Tightened up some of the Bio.

Class: Sentinel

Profession: Advanced Firearms Trainer

Talents: Ryan is a crack shot with his Heavy Pistol, preferring to take out his enemies at mid range so he relies on the few biotic abilities he has like Throw or Cryo Blast to keep them at bay but relies on his power armor for when he chooses to get up close and personal with his targets. Ryan isn't the smoothest talker or the quietest of walkers either which can make his job much harder than it normally is. Ryan is also somewhat competent with computers as he had nothing to do for a few months while stuck in the infirmary.

Possessions: Ryan is a fan of accurate weapons so his main weapon of choice is the M-6 Carnifex Hand Cannon heavy pistol, but he also likes his M-12 Locust for when things get a little too hectic and he needs to keep his enemies on their toes. Ryan carries with him a set of light combat armor along with his standard issue omni-tool.

During a live training exercise Ryan risked his life by jumping on a live grenade, his Tech Armor was able to absorb the majority of the blast but he was still wounded badly. He spent nearly a month in the infirmary recovering and having nothing to do all day he asked if he could be taught the essentials of how to navigate through a computer if he ever needed to. Ryan had finally achieved what he wanted. Glory. He had become a hero for risking his life to save his fellow troops in what was officially declared a "horrendous accident". One of the higher ups in the academy noticed this act of selflessness and sent his profile off to Recarius to examine. When Ryan learned of this he jumped at the opportunity to work with Recarius, he had always wondered what it would be like to work with a Spectre. In all his years at the academy Ryan never thought that he would ever get a chance like this. Knowing that it could be a long while before the Spectre finally showed up to investigate his report the administrator offered Ryan a promotion to train the more "promising" recruits his tricks on how to handle a gun. Ryan, once again, leaped at the opportunity to become a trainer for the academy and began teaching even those he had once been sitting in class with just a short time ago. Not too long after he began his teaching career at the academy Ryan was called into the administrators office and was told that the Turian spectre Recarius would be there within the next day or two and that he should be prepared for anything to happen. Ryan quickly sorted through his things deciding what he would and wouldn't need if the Turian did decide to take him with him, after that Ryan went to bed in order to kill some of the remaining time until Recarius arrived.

I like this RP idea let me make my sheet.

Name: James Crespo
Age: 23 galactic standard years.
Gender: Male
Race: Human

Appearance: James is a Caucasian male who stands at 6'2" who has short brown hair and a forgettable face that isn't that bad looking. He is muscular and has a tattoo on his right arm which is a crosshair that has the words "One shot" at the top and "One kill" at the bottom. In combat he wears pitch black light armor that has some red splatter marks on it that he added to represent the blood of his enemies, he also wears a Kuwashii Visor. in his normal clothes he wears long black pants, a black shirt, and a a hat that says "One shot One kill" like his tattoo.

Personality: James is a joker by nature and likes to make jokes even in battle. While his real personality is that of a joker he is very good at adopting a new personality that goes with the situation he's in. He's a complex guy but he cares for his squad mates and even though he would never say it he would die for each of them.

Profession: Assassin, James is a master marksman and a master at deception. James uses his mastery of deception to get close to his target and get information about his target which he then uses to kill the guy in a manner he believe is appropriate with what the person who hired him wanted.

Possessions: His armor (obviously), a M-97 Viper sniper rifle (his weapon of choice), a M-9 Tempest, A Omni-tool (he can hack but he's not very good at it), and a picture of his parents.

Biography: James was born on the planet Earth and was born into a military family with both his parents being in the military. Being born into a military family he was no stranger to guns and got training on how to shoot guns at a very young age and only got better through the years to the point he was a match for the best snipers in the military. When he was 16 his parents had to leave for an off planet assignment and James stayed with one of his fathers friends, George. after two months news came in that both his parents were assassinated by an unknown assassin and James went into denial. The person who saved him from his mental breakdown was his fathers friend george who revealed to james that he was an assassin himself for a time and still knew the tricks of the trade. After 3 years of assassin training with george James then set out to random planets taking contracts while searching for the assassin who killed his parents. After 4 years of killing, getting quite the reputation (he was known as the ghost) and finding nothing of the assassin that killed his parents. James got a contract to kill a Turian spectre named Recarius Kallidan who had been getting too close to the guy then he would like. James then headed to planet (Can't think of one >.< just think of a city) where Kallidan was supposedly supposed to be heading in a few days. After 3 days of gathering information and finding the perfect spot James just decided the best course of action was to snipe him in public because he didn't like his chances if he got into a close quarters fight with him. After getting in position and waiting about 3 hours Kallidan came into view, James looked through the scope but Kallidan just went with the crowd so he never could get a clear shot at him. After about 2 minutes Kallidan vanished from the crowd, James then started to scan the crowd looking for kallidan but he couldn't find him. He then heard footsteps behind him and as he looked back he noticed kallidan standing over him with his gun pointed at his head., knowing that he couldn't win he surrendered to kallidan. Kallidan then offered James a chance to earn his life back, One he had to kill the man that sent James after him and two had to join Kallidan's squad. Not having much of a choice he accepted Kallidan's offer and then he got the details as to where to meet up with him when he killed the contractor. James then went to the Contractors base and made up the story that he killed kallidan and he was here to pick up his payment. Once he met the contractor in person he immediately shot him and his guards all in the head. He then quickly made his escape walking right out of the front gate while the place was in confusion. He then flew to Omega and found the place he was supposed to meet up with Kallidan at.
