Max Payne Puts on Pounds, Sheds Hair For New Game

The term "ultra-violent" has me picturing Raiders in Fallout 3 getting cleanly decapitated by a 10mm pistol. God I hate the blood and gore obsession.

After all our complaints that we're sick of generic action, how can we turn down the opportunity to be shown a deeper character... alongside Max Payne style Ultraviolence?

Bwahahaha! Oh I teared up.

I actually like these recent developments. Sure it's a huge departure but it's an evolution in character and not just another shoddy sequel. The franchise has always been at the top when it comes to game storytelling.

The retired detective who has let himself go moving into another country is a classic element of film noir.

Max looks awesome! This is what games are all about, evolution. It's not really believable that a man that had all of Max's experiences would be clean cut and sane. We all know Max is crazy, glad they're making him look the part.

I find myself more interested in this game now that I've seen what he now looks like. After playing the first two games, this new image just feels right to me. Can't wait!
