Theres actually a comic where people are becoming Zombies without realising it at first and trying to work within modern society. They call themselves "Returners" and the living (who are freaked out) call them "deadies". The returners get themselves a liason to the whitehouse i'll let your imagination wonder about the rest he he.

just to entertain you, shortly after a zombie "greets" you, the zombie will continue to "greet" you by eating your entire body, so zombies get no compassion, they get bullets, to the face....or.....to the foot if your a real bad shot.

I am reminded of the ending of Shawn Of The Dead. A woman was on Oprah claiming that she still loved her zombified husband and got into bed with him each night.

I saw this indie film called "Zombies Anonymous" and another called "American Zombie" who take the side of the zombies being victims of prejudice, it was a very interesting premise.

Thank you for mentioning my favorite zombie ever with Zombies Anonymous.

Now generally speaking we are deal with the brain dead zombies. The body is alive but the brain is not. This is why people don't think of being insensitive about zombies. Tough to be offended about something when you don't have a mind in the first hand. They are trying to kill you for your flesh/brain and nothing more. This is for the need of what they don't have. When it comes down to it, Hannibal Lecter proves we taste damn good. So can't blame them. Still they come at me, killing the reanimated corpse is my main goal.

+1 at this point there should be a section devoted entirely to zombies cause threads about em pop up more then hordes in L4D
