*Heavy voice* Stupid!
I mean, really? There are little boys pulling the heads of girls' Barbie dolls all over the world and they want to worry about Spiderman sticking to windows? These people want to protect children from commercials, so what, they're gonna hand out blindfolds to every kid who walks through town, gets on a bus, reads a newspaper, surfs the Internet, and now, eats food..?
Go find something else to complain about, you whining bunch of idiots.

Kids have been playing with superhero and Army action figures for years. How is this bad in any way? And aren't superheroes kind and out to get rid of evil law breakers and such?

Obviously McDonalds should be giving out 'Generic, Non-branded Recreational Figure Man' toys instead of anything they might actually enjoy. It will save their fragile minds from such eldritch horrors as colours or imagination.

Never heard of these people before, but they need to crawl off in a corner and die.

Exactly what do their own kids do for fun? Push a hoop down a road with a stick? I can only assume that since most toys are commercialized in some way or another, that they're not allowed to have any, and that is going to breed a rather disturbed adult. An adult that never had a childhood because their friend Timmy or Sally had a GIJoe or a Barbie and their parents didn't want their children to be corrupted by the blatant commercialism that made the toys popular.

CCFC added to mental database under the folder 'Stupid/silly people'. They will now spend their time in the company of Fox news, PETA and the Westboro Baptist Church. And I will never take anything they say seriously ever again.

Also, they are afraid it will get kids to want to see PG-13 movies? I would easily let a five year old watch those movies, if I had already watched it to make sure there is no harmful content.

Wait, what? Now superheroes are considered inappropriate for children? SUPERHEROES?!

These guys might disagree with the CCFG. I suggest that they listen.
Three of them were even picked to go to a peace conference. Obviously these characters should be banned from all media.

Wow. This is easily one of the most stupid protests in the history of, well, ever.

Also, how can you use violent and PG13 in the same sentence? They kind of contradict each other!

To the members of CCFC,

Of course Superheros are "violent"! Where were you (I'm gonna guess) 40 years ago? Did you not pay attention as a child?!?

Or did your parents not let you play with them, and now you wanna ruin every kids childhood so you don't feel alone?

*sigh* Stupidity makes me sad...

Agree'd, bring on the 20 pages of furry!
I don't think this is really the place for that.

OT:

Oh yeah, because there were never those Spider-Man cartoons that I used to watch when I was 5/6/7/8 years old. Or those Fantastic 4 ones. Or those Incredible Hulk ones.

And there were certainly no X-Men cartoons! No sirs and madams, not in this household!

While I am against the CCFC and their ideals to not advertise to kids, the Marvel Superhero Toys in the McDonalds Happy Meals are Creepy. We have the Thing toy currently in our house, and it's so cheap and it's barely audible. They should have tried to at least make those cheap toys better.

Were these people ever children or did they just spawn out of a pit of liquid stupid somewhere?
I remember when McDonald's gave away Super Mario Bros. 3 toys with their Happy Meals, this is nothing new.
