ME2, how long will it be?

The first one was basically half of a game.
If two is at least twice as long I might get it, maybe.
Up to 60+ hours, I WILL get it.

The longer the better.
Bioware is good at making long games without making them boring.

It is at least two disks. I'd be surprised if it came in under 100 hours.

I'm thinking a good couple hours longer than what the majority of y'all are suggesting. Only because we are gonna be in pretty new territory now, even for those who played the original Mass Effect. Don't forget all the saving and reloading that will be going on like mad because we'll be feeling around the conversations to get the end results we desire.

Although I am a little bit concerned that Bioware might have mainstreamed ME2 too much. What with your all around wrong side of the tracks teammates and all. Just have to wait and see January 26th I guess.

One last thing, how long do ya think until the media cries outrage over the inevitable side-boob or exposed butt cheek that will "desensitize" us in ME2?

This is just something I have been wondering, after seeing an Xbox OXM report (no I don't know what it means either) one of the dev's said that it was going to come on a couple disks. I started think "Wow, maybe it could be... I don't know, 50-60 hours?" that's probably a little too much. So I ask you my fellow Escapes, how long do you think ME2 will be?

OXM is short for Official X-Box Magazine.

And although the game spans two disks, the whole storymode isn't all that much longer than the original (I've heard. That or I'm thinking how much larger the universe is.)

Questions like this are always kind of pointless - it'll take you however long you want it to! For example, it takes me a bit longer to play games than most of my friends because I like to stop and smell the roses as I go along... take in the environment etc.

my guess would be 20 hours if you only do the main quest, 80 hours with side quests, adding the travel time and the inedible tracking of them all.

honestly i dont really care, after disliking ME at first try back when it got released and me now giving it a second try because i was hyped about a new bioware game, and then really hating it i have lost all interest in the sequel.

but 20/80 seems reasonable.

Considering it's on two disks and half of the content wont be there on your first time through, depending on your ME1 save, I'd say that it's going to make Dragon Age: Origins feel like Portal in terms of length.
