ME2: Legion vs. Tali

It needs to be full in order to convince them. Since this part takes place so close to the end of the main storyline, the developers proably thought you would at least have one of them full. I did it and luckily I had full Paragon so I was capable of talking them out of it.

Yeah it seems to be level scaled, which is probably why Tali and Legion's confrontation is much harder, since you get those missions much later.

just choose the bottom right option, I think telling Legion that he's wrong. Legion understands and you don't loose his loyalty. At least for me he didn't. Unless that was a glitch!

You need a shitload to convince them to back off. I was almost all the way renegade and I couldn't tell them both to shut up so I chose to side with tali and I was able to talk legion down afterward.

That should be one of the last conversations you have in the game, that late in the game you should have capped Paragon or Renegade. That said, Legion is right.

Not sure if it's 100% yet, but by that point in the game I'm pretty much always 100% either way anyway.
But I'm sure about the non-paragon/renegade option. I just replayed that bit now, and did it to confirm.

The bottom right. You tell Legion that what he's doing is wrong, and is getting in the way of the mission, or something like that, and he's not exactly happy, but I don't loose his loyalty. I guess maybe cus he's a geth, his emotional scale isn't as large, as say Tali's? Dunno.

Having read an excerpt of some FemShep x Legion fanfiction, I can safely say that at least Tali is relatively humanoid.
