Ookami Swords Retreat,A Small amount a light Cavalry move to intercept Sam.
One of his Commanders yells "Full Retreat! Back over the River!"

Sam rolls off the horse and onto the terrain in order to dodge Ookami's series of arrows. His horse is not as lucky. Sam hops to his feet just in time to see the cavalry racing towards him. At this point, Ookami has probably retreated too far to intercept him on foot. He charges towards the cavalry in desperation.

I thought we were going to have our armies fight, not RP with fodder. Correct me if I am wrong.

OOC:yes that was the initial Idea,but I had to react to being attacked

"attack james troops" blue says, ordering 6 of his more skilled men to help attack the cavaly,3 of them being bowmen, shooting the cavalry as they run.

OOC: yeah my bad, but i was commanding my troops aswell

The riflemen are a bit shaken after the sudden volley from the ship, but since they had already dug in there were few casualties.
The riflemen are then ordered to fire upon the troops of Blue and Sam, the cavalry once again disengaging.

blue, being caught by surprize, got hit in the shoulder by a oncoming bullet.
"ah...crud!!" he mutters, covering the wound with a bandage and hiding behind a nearby oak tree.

 

[wesdabigman]

Sam retreats behind the cover of brush and whistles loudly. A stampede of Blazing Angel reinforcements from across the river charge in with great speed from the side of the rifleman to suppress their attack.

 

[Baldrek]

"Riflemen, retreat!" James yells, "Cavalry, cover their escape and catch up later"

I suggest that we restart the story and the first thing we do is post our army and commanders (again). Remember to read the guidelines on the first post. If there is anything you're wondering about, PM Hazakura, f.ex: New units, the rules for boats, what special units count as (sword, spear or bow), etc.
