Hmm..you know, I would actually welcome a new Megaman Legends game.

Yes, I am aware that I am one of the few who loved both it and its spin-off, the Misadventures of Tron Bonne. But damn it, I would love to see more of both. Hell, another game where you could rampage around as Tron would be awesome beyond words.

Yeah those are great games I love em to and Tron as the Anti-Hero was an awesome idea and well executed I'd enjoy another go as that crew of pirates.

Plus Korias seem to be a fan too.

Mega Man Legends 1 and 2 were some of the best games for ps1. It would be sweet if that could be expanded into am mmo.

the last thing you see of him is being stuck on an artifical moon with Roll and Tron working together to build a rocketship to get him back.

Megaman Legends (And Megaman Legends 2) were some of my favorite games for the Playstation. Bout damn time the made a sequel. I'd LOVE to have an MMO Version of Megaman Legends. The world itself is pretty much set up to be an MMO: Different continents, airships, pirates, millions of dungeons that can be randomly generated, item crafting, and mini games (Racing, Can-kicking, Pig-growing).

Wow I wasn't even thinking about making a Universe out of Legends but yeah that could work! You wouldn't even need to be Megaman you could be a random digger guy/girl who keeps running into him, of course Mega, Roll, Barrel and the Bonnes(Tron, Bon, Teisel, and the servebots) could show up for key story missions but you could pal around with them on certain side ruins or something.

Or you have a singleplayer story as Megaman again and a Co-op mode as the edited diggers with maybe different weapon types like you start with a pistol and upgrade to more tradional guns or get bows or a buster arm and you could maybe upgrade your flutter with paint or parts to get access to certain areas or races. Oh now i wish this was what they were talking about for sure.

Well, You'd probably have to level up before you can get your own private Flutter. You'd probably get a Bus (ala the first MM Legends game) before that. I don't think that they'd be able to do races: Maybe ethnicities, but the main races are Reaver, Human, and those aliens from the end of the second game. Likewise, I don't think that witholding certain races until a certain level is a sound strategy. Maybe different digging styles, such as a more melee oriented style (Similar to Zero's) or one that focuses on hacking Reavers to do your dirty work.

I'd like to see them resolve the storyline, but there is so much potential in the MMO version. Maybe even interweave them. Some sort of central quest line, or perhaps a World Goal: You have the option of selling refractors, or donating them to the cause of bringing Megaman back from space.

Never thought about it really, but a Megaman mmo doesn't sound too bad

I just really hope it'll be more along the lines of the traditional shooter rather than an rpg.
More based around completing story based missions instead of doing grindy quests for hours until you're a high enough level to beat some boss.

Well, while this is all still speculation, I could see them doing something similar to the new MMO Planes of Telara, which, if I recall, is sticking to the familiar two-faction system. Diggers on one side, Pirates on the other. Each one could feasibly raid/defend each other's cities (As seen in Legends 2 where you not only defend a city from an aerial assault, but also then go and raid the bird's base).

There is just so much potential that I can't believe that I didn't see this before. How did Capcom pass over such a goldmine of opportunities?

On topic, did they file this trademark in the US or Japan or somewhere else?

Well, while this is all still speculation, I could see them doing something similar to the new MMO Planes of Telara, which, if I recall, is sticking to the familiar two-faction system. Article doesn't really say it's from Legends or it a MMO but we think it would be a great basis if it was.... but they havn't said it is or isn't yet so theres hope, Maybe.

It's from the PS1 "Mega Man Legends 2" the graphics are gonna seem dated plus the art directions was geared torwards a japanesse only release style which worked for the animation design.

Unless Capcom says that they are making Legends 3 I won't be listening.*puts fingers in ears and makes loud noise*. I mean us Legends fans have been waiting years for a third installment, and we have been patient! Especially with the ending that they gave us in Legends 2. But I'll keep my eye on this.

I just want a new Mega Man X game that doesn't suck, just to have an actual good game to close the series out on... classic 16-bit style.

In all seriousness though, I really hope this doesn't turn out to be an MMO. I can't even imagine how a Mega Man MMO would work in the first place.
