First of all: Star Wars. Han Solo dances a little jigg in some Connect-game, apparently. Why does it matter? And did George Lucas send out hitmen to kill everyone's pet hamsters as of late? Meh.

Comics, or rather superhero-comics. Who cares? Superheroes seem to always be the same tosser in a costume punching baddies in the face. It's just not very interesting, or really worthy getting knickers in a twist for.
Related; Batman. He must be the most boring of the bunch, despite mixing things up by not really having any magical powers. He's just an extremly rich man who haven't gone over his grief towards his parents properly and are now taking out his feelings by dressing up like a bat and hunting the lower class thugs for sport.

(Seriously, Tintin would kick his butt, anyways)

Sports. I can understand why it's fun, it's a game. But it's not much of a riot-excuse. I do agree with a suggestion I heard, namely enforcing a 15 year old limit on attending certain sport events. Capital idea! Noone over 15 allowed in.

Purists... They're a wee bit like conservatives or reactionaries, come to think of it. Something that seems new and frightening appears, and it's surely going to ruin the nation/make the game teh gays, and it must be stopped. Then, they dream themselves back to a lost, golden age where everything was as it should be (1950's or in their early teens behind their console of choice), while disreguarding -everything- that was shitty about their sacred, golden years. Then they ache to bring it on back, forgetting that time moves in one direction, and it's not possible to either cram old perspectives back into new circumstances, neither is it possible to conserve anything, aaaanything, forever. Everything is changing always, and always have.

And zombies. Overdone is just the start of it. And don't secretly look forward to it, it would be nowhere near as awesome as it looks like on paper.

Rap music has no effect on me at all. It does not move me dance or give me a knee jerk negative response I often associate with Country Music.

to be fair have you ever actually read much material with super heros in it? there might be more to it than just the spandex tights

but then again I havn't..hardly at all...superheros just don't apeal to me, I mean from an outsiders perspective it seems they just dick around and "be superos" rather than "do" superhero stuff....with leugues and rosters and crossovers and GAAAAHHHH its enough to give you a headache

thats why I really like "The Boys" <- sure its got all that heache inducing stuff surounding superheros, BUT its a really facinating look at the concept of superheros

but yeah, my favorite comics dont have super heros...(Preacher, Transmetropolitan)
