At this point I'm indifferent about the whole Half Life 3 - Episode 3 thing. I had passing interest in the rumors of hints but whatever. It'll happen sometime. And then nobody will shut up about it, for better or for worse.

Hm... right now it's the Avengers. I don't really care to see the movie because I'm just not that into superhero movies anymore. I don't care how good an actor Robert Downy Jr. is or that Joss Whedon is associated with the movie in some way. I'm just not interested in it. I may watch via Netflix someday, but not until I watch Thor first.

I only get passionate about it when people I know treat me like I'm an alien because of my disinterest.

Death. And I'm not saying that for some kind of "Oh JT, you so edgy!". I mean, in a weird way, I find it hard to give a crap about death. I don't really understand the whole 'mourning' thing. Isn't it kinda like crying over spilt milk (granted, it's on a larger scale, but it generally fits the metaphor)?
It's not that I'm disrespectful about it, though. I'll attend funerals respectfully and what not (And the wake. Though I never understood why "someone just died" is immediately followed by "let's have a buffet!")
But generally when someone dies, I can't help but feel overall 'meh'. They're dead, they're not coming back, let's get on with things as long as we're still alive.

Music. I just?don?t listen to that much of it. I don?t have an iPod or anything, nor do I have a particular genre that I listen to.

Gay marriage. The world?s not going to end just because two guys want an official contract to show their love or whatever. Also, apart from actual gay/bisexual people, why should anyone poke their noses when they're not wanted into other people's private business? It's not as if they're waving their cocks in your face every five minutes.

Well, marriage in general. Outdated and, IMO, overall meaningless institution which I will cry tears of blood over if my future girlfriend ever expresses a desire for it.

Mass effect 3's ending

I know what you mean, I was initially disappointed and angry but now there is just those serene, vacant feeling surrounding the whole series for me.

.....so everyone (or at least you guys) feel how I always felt about the series in general even BEFORE Mass Effect 3? This is how I felt trying to play the first game....

....good to know.

But for me.....

I guess I'm neutral to My Little Pony: FIM, I watched Powerpuff girls as a kid, and they have exactly the same entertainment standards for me.
Besides! Both center around a bunch of girls with super-magical powers who fight evil and learn about love and companionship along the way! Bubbles is mostly Fluttershy, Blossom is mostly Twilight sparkle, Buttercup is mostly Rainbow Dash (the tomboy), mix in some Pinkie Pie and Applejack to create CHEMICAL X.

I have a hard time caring about gay marriage. I mean, it's not illegal any more to be gay in most countries, and they're allowed to live together as domestic partners; being legally married doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference, nothing is stopping them from having a ceremony without the legal contract right? I mean, I know some hetero couples who live pretty much like a married couple.My uncle and his fiance have been together for a long while (I think almost 20 years) and have a 15 year old son, and they aren't married,it affects them very little.

There's not really any reason that they shouldn't be allowed to marry, I just think it doesn't really matter much at all.

Additionally Gay people are prosecuted in many parts of America, for example just recently a gay person was dragged to death by someone in their car and no charges were pressed against the person even though he did it in the middle of town and many people saw him doing it. Finally its the principle of the mater that counts. By preventing gays from getting married you are essentially stating that they are not allowed the same rights as a anyone else because of something that is out of their control.

I don't want to sound hostile and I personally don't care if you are indifferent or not I just hope I could change it if your indifference was caused by ignorance instead of just apathy.

Comics, or rather superhero-comics. Who cares? Superheroes seem to always be the same tosser in a costume punching baddies in the face. It's just not very interesting, or really worthy getting knickers in a twist for.
Related; Batman. He must be the most boring of the bunch, despite mixing things up by not really having any magical powers. He's just an extremly rich man who haven't gone over his grief towards his parents properly and are now taking out his feelings by dressing up like a bat and hunting the lower class thugs for sport.

(Seriously, Tintin would kick his butt, anyways)

Sports. I can understand why it's fun, it's a game. But it's not much of a riot-excuse. I do agree with a suggestion I heard, namely enforcing a 15 year old limit on attending certain sport events. Capital idea! Noone over 15 allowed in.

Purists... They're a wee bit like conservatives or reactionaries, come to think of it. Something that seems new and frightening appears, and it's surely going to ruin the nation/make the game teh gays, and it must be stopped. Then, they dream themselves back to a lost, golden age where everything was as it should be (1950's or in their early teens behind their console of choice), while disreguarding -everything- that was shitty about their sacred, golden years. Then they ache to bring it on back, forgetting that time moves in one direction, and it's not possible to either cram old perspectives back into new circumstances, neither is it possible to conserve anything, aaaanything, forever. Everything is changing always, and always have.

And zombies. Overdone is just the start of it. And don't secretly look forward to it, it would be nowhere near as awesome as it looks like on paper.
