Tru dat, Ok, so we are getting MGS. Im not buying it. I know some people think they are fun, but I rather despise the MGS series. Still, it takes away one more PS3 exclusive, and god knows theyve gotten many of Our ex-exclusives recently *Shrugs* I might try the demo though.

Speak for yourself. I happen to like the MGS in the way you like a quirky friend who occasionally pitches fits and spouts conspiracy theories. And I was disappointed MGS4 went exclusive to the PS3 because I knew there was no way I could afford that. I'll happily check out MGS Rising, and consider it an improvement over the Halo franchise.

Difficult for me to get excited about the new MGS.... Raiden was a bitching bore in MGS2. MGS4 ended the franchise just fine.... But of course they can't just let it be.

I freaking love MGS, but this is just a spinoff (I think it's called Metal Gear: R or something, so not MGS), so I'm glad the 360 users can enjoy such a great franchise, I'm hoping that PS3 owners get the same treatment, and maybe Zone of Enders??

Aside from this announcement tho, the conference is rather disappointing.

When I first heard about Final Fantasy coming to the 360 I heard a thousand PS3 fanboys screaming in rage, and imagined the smiles of a thousand 360 fanboys.

When I heard MGS coming to the 360 I imagined a million PS3 fanboys screaming in rage, crying for blood. Then I imagined I heard a million 360 fanboys laughing.

Anyone else thought this?

This makes me laugh. I own a PS3. And I'm not outraged.... why would I be? The 360 gets a possibly-exclusive MGS game featuring Raiden... after MGS4 essentially ended the story? Yay...

The funny part is that MGS4 is still exclusive... so there will be a huge gap in the story for people that left off with only MGS3. I will be happy ending with MGS4... if MGS Rising comes to PS3... I MAY get excited.... But I'll live just fine without it I'm sure.
