Since I live in America... this doesn't really affect me... at least not directly, but this is still good news.
Maybe next week we'll hear that Jack Thompson's appeal to be "re-BARred" will be denied. And that he'll be put under house arrest. And that his internet access will be blocked.

Well, that's the risk with any change. As an American who has opposed Atkinson even to the point of sending (polite) mail to him, I can't complain now that I've seen what I wanted to see happen. If the next guy is worse, he can be opposed also. Now I just hope we have a similar success with some of the censorship/information control here in the US.revolverwolf said:

All that's left is to wait and watch, truthfully though it would have been nice if the game industry itself played a more overt role in these events. That would have sent a clear message about the industry standing up for itself the same way Hollywood has in the past.
