The Media is not mourning the man, they're mourning their favorite backup story. Its like britney Spears or something. The Media always had him as a backup if it was a slow news day because he was always doing something questionably sane. So now what will they do?

The media hypes everything. That's where the profit is. Money > actual journalism
What's really sad is that's actually the case in 99% of publications (Tabloids, I'm looking at you. With the F***ing Evil Eye)

Micheal had a damn tough life. There's no question that he was a very strange man, though. When you think about it, you realize that this was a man who had his childhood taken away from him. The guy's father was abusive and used him to make millions. He was essentially thrusted into stardom and as a result never did what other kids did. He could never go out and play, never go to the arcade with friends, he had to be surrounded by bodyguards who would essentially push any potential childhood friends away.

Many people seem to think that his whole Neverland thing is all about his lust for kids when I simply think it's this man's attempt to reclaim a childhood he never had. Do I think he molested children? I doubt he did. I honestly think that those pursuing him for molestation were in it for the money.

Billy Mays. Indeed, may he rest in peace.

I find it ironic; he sold more albums after his death than he had in the last 15 or so years.

As for his death, it'll grow old eventually. The media circus will find some other poor bastard to leech off of.
I don't find it that ironic. I find it more typical. I mean look at 2 Pac. To be honest I really saw it coming.

I mourned his passing for maybe a week, but that's it. I'm a huge fan and will always be, but I still believe in shedding 3 tears and moving on. The media just need to shut the fuck up and stop trying to make a quick penny off of him.

I didn't care that he died. I wasn't a fan of his and to be honets he will always go down as a suspected pedo in my eyes. No offense to his fans. I actually had a lady I had never met, ask me in a gas station "how I was coping" with his death, that's just sad.

Hey, did you hear Michael Jackson died of food poisoning?
Yeah, ate a twelve year old weiner.

Anyway, I find it pretty hilarious that the same people who were making fun of him beforehand have practically deified him.
