You actually can play these in the PvMP area known as Ettenmoors. I know several people who do nothing but play monsters. With the quests and pvp aspect of the area it is quite fun.hippykiller said:Can someone please tell me why you cant play as a bad guy in LOTRO? you could be a orc or a goblin or a wannabe-Ring Wraith. but unfortunately you have to be the good guy.
I have to say this quote is probably one of the funniest things I hear all the time. Games being knock offs of WoW. Blizzard rarely has it own thoughts when it comes to WoW. I can point out hundreds of features in WoW that started in Ultima Online, Everquest, Asheron's Call 1 & 2, Dark Age of Camelot, Lord of the Rings Online, and even Warhammer.hippykiller said:Yeah I stopped playing like a month ago so i could try world of warcraft. and i have to say LOTRO is just another knock off of WoW. but in a different world.
What Blizzard does tend to do is enhance these features to add more pizazz. Prime example is WoW's achievement system. This was in many games before WoW such as LOTRO deeds system or Warhammer's (can't remember name of it), or heck lets even point out the Xbox achievement system. They took the best, in my opinion, of all the previous games or game systems and combined it. Is this bad? No, but not a pioneer in the field of MMO's by any means.
