I didn't accuse fourchan specifically, and I also think fourchan is fun. I also think you should stop screaming at everyone and using swearing. This is a direct attack on an Indie developer who is just getting his company on his feet, and there is nothing noble about it. They are depriving people of something they paid for, and besides, isn't Notch working on a big Halloween update? Maybe he is just busy with that.

"the updates that you promise them" - Notch has never announced updates, and definately never 'promised' them before the upcoming Halloween update, which is scheduled for the 31st of October (take note, it is not yet the 31st of October). Ironically, it wouldn't surprise me if this was now delayed, due to this action.

2. "We have roughly 83,000 bots available" - Because, really, the best way to justify your views is to admit to a serious crime. I mean, if Ed Milliband came out tomorrow and gave a press conferance saying "Britain should adopt socialist policy because I KILLED A CHILD TODAY!", I know I'd support him.[/sarcasm, except the bit about me supporting Milliband, I don't like socialists, but if he did actually say that, he'd get my vote]

3. "we're not from roblox, or any other minecraft clone" - Anyone getting a feeling of that trope in the last paragraph (forget the name, don't want to look it up, because I know I'd be stuck on tvtropes for a few years), I mean, I'm pretty sure no one was ever thinking of that until they said it. It'd be like if Ed Milliband came out tomorrow and said "Britain should adopt socialist policy, and I've never slept with prostitutes despite knowing all six of them to be both significantly underage".

(He's the leader of the opposition, ok? He deserves to be mocked! It's like the law or something.)

Oh, and there's no proof this claim is even legitimate. From what I gather (without minecraft I have a lot of free time!), the attack was directed against the server that hosts minecraft.net, not necessary against minecraft.net. So it's more than likely this is just some troll pretending to be in control of the whole thing because... well... why do trolls do anything?

Ok, I posted a thread that made me mention 4chan made me have an apiphany, people said "Well 4chan isn't always that bad" the instant there's a thread involving the words "4chan" "DDoS" and "Minecraft" you all freaking go "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!". That is very hypocritical of all of you. No offense, but THIS must be why you guys are considered the most self-centered jackasses on the internet. YOU'RE ALL. FUCKING. HYPOCRITES. I do feel that this is grossly counterproductive and a fine example of Failure To Read, considering there's a whacking great update coming on the 31st, probably more than the content of 5 weekly updates, and had been promoted as such for a couple of weeks now.

Most my time these days is taken up by meetings and lawyers, accountants, banks, potential partners, potential employees, and the occasional interview. The few hours I do have to develop the game every now and then are mostly spent on looking into bugs and replying to emails.

All this non-development work will result in a much nicer working environment, with talented people helping out with development, an actual office, and a much better way to deal with support issues, bug reports and feature requests.

It?s a good thing I didn?t know how much work setting up a company would be when I started doing it..

The status right now is that we?re up to four people confirmed, and we?re talking to several people. We almost got an office, but they wanted us to sign up for three years, which seems a bit like a gamble for a startup. So we?re still looking for an office.

I know some people feel let down by the lack of updates. I?m sorry.

But I am working. Hard. =)

It's in the damn first post, 90% of the first page of it says "Boo 4chan!" "4chan sucks!" "I hate /v/!", yeah, really not about 4chan AT ALL.

The story. As in, the news story written by Andy Chalk. Also, I read 3 posts in the first page that mentioned 4chan, plus one that mentioned Anonymous. I make that to be around 11 and a half percent, including the post about Anonymous. That's quite different to 90 percent mate. Also what first post are you reading? This is the post that I get.

Not sure if it is a connection or just a coincidence, but when I tried offline single player, that was also crashing...
