Alright, I've been waiting to do this. First, Minecraft is a First Person based around exploring, building and what not. Second, multi player will be covered. All right lets do this.

Sound: Its alright, but doesn't have a large enough chunk of greatness to even matter. It has the NES

Graphics: Look at any screenshot, but I guess you can say its like playing an old NES game but as a FP. By the way, not the genre FPS, but the perspective of a FP. I can't really explain minecraft's graphics without saying one thing, everything is or resembles or is made out of a block. HELL, look outside and imagine that everything was shaped in a block form, then you would get a good amount of knowledge about the the games graphics.

Gameplay: I'll split this into the main categories, Building, Adventuring, and Combat below.

Building: Odly simple, but addictive, fun to erect large castles from the simple hut that used to be your house. All blocks are square thus making building anything fun and unique.

Combat: Very lacking. Your more or less just swashing a sword the direction of the local monster until it falls over and dies, not that big o' deal.

Adventuring: Great fun to be had here, but still needs a few tweeks. You go out and explore the block infested world, once dead everything you had on you gets dropped.

Multiplayer: Its also great fun, and addictive. Imagine a bar brawl with Minecraft's combat, building even larger floating doom fortresses and even just exploring with linked maps, its all here to enjoy. Only issue is how you join a server, do you like inputting any Internet addresses? No, then you may not like doing it to join a minecraft server, and more or less, those servers are going to be super restrictive on what you can do.

I recommend minecraft to anyone who has 15 bucks to spend, its fun and pretty well done, weird and awesome, so give it a try.

That's very... concise.
Sorry, but I hardly think that half a sentence about some of the aspects of the game is a review. More of a list, really.

Yeah.... he's kinda right, there's keeping it brief and.... well that.

Still, I appreciate the effort - although it's not like this has been done a billion times before.... no offense.

I want to thank you for convincing me to purchase Minecraft. It's been weeks of constant barrages from friends and internet acquaintances. Each one urging me to buy this strange and interesting game. Yet, I have not wavered. I stood firm, not willing to budge, waiting for something new. Your review, though, taught me everything I needed to know. Thanks to you, I can finally revel in a new blocky and foreign world.

Sarcasm aside, and if this is a legitimate review, put more effort into it. I can't take this seriously. This isn't a review.

First-person shooter (FPS) is a video game genre which centers the gameplay around gun and projectile weapon-based combat through the first-person perspective
Minecraft is in no way an FPS other then that, pretty much what everyone else sai

Not the genre FPS, what it means is First Person Shooter, minecraft is first person, and you could argue with high might that it is a shooter as well. I may change it to FP if you can give me more evidence on why it doesn't deserve the title of FPS.

None taken, I try to keep any review I do short and simple, I may add more sentences through the editing process and make it more concise. Thank you for the suggestion. This was also my second review I did on here, nothing special was what I was aiming for. And Minecraft fit the reviewing bill.

Other than it does not fit into the definition of an FPS, Oblivion is not an FPS, neither is Morrowind. Both of then, like minecraft, focus on melee fighting but have bows which do not make them an FPS

It's fun, but it's been crashing every ten seconds lately. It's become unplayable. Also, I can't find one more #@$&^@$&# patch of clay to finish my brick house! I only need twenty more bricks, where the #^$&W% is it, I looked everywhere?! I also think notch should really introduce craftable gun powder, guns, lava proof suits as an alternate armor option and resource locators.

I recommend you read other reviews before posting yours, and the guidelines. It's looked down upon to have a review this short - put some detail into your views!
Sorry, I wrote this when I was very, oh so tired. I recently re edited it to add more lines of detail in there, so you can have a look and tell me what you think.
