Really? What is Notch? A gay fish?Tom Goldman said:He also likes fish sticks.
Ah, I am to lazy to read previous posts and you beat me to it.Zechnophobe said:What is he, a gay fish?
Um. I'm pretty sure this was all from before. He didn't sell 1.8 million in the last week.LegoDudeGuy said:I think it was from them winning March Mayhem 2011.
Yeah. He's going to have a hard time selling this thing. He'd be better off focusing on the Minecraft; that's what's bringing in the cash.kebab4you said:I don't know Notch, Scrolls sounds awfully boring for me. But will have to wait and see.
IF he keeps the money tied to the company then the taxing isn't that big, but if he would keep the money on hes personal bank accounts then the taxing would be massive. He draws a normal salary from the fund of the company, that goes under the income tax that is higher, companies taxing is different and lower. Basically even after taxes the amount of money he has is a lot, well mojang has... Since he doesn't have the money, the company does.Wieke said:Wasn't that before taxes & paypall? I think he lives in sweden and i'm pretty sure income tax is quite high over there.Zechnophobe said:He also likes fish sticks.

33 Million is an incredible sum. I don't even know how I'd spend that much. I'm glad to hear he's basically reinvesting it in the company however.
The game didn't write itself! Plus, you know in every success there is a bit of luck..Raiyan 1.0 said:Honestly, this really has to do more with luck.Art Axiv said:Hard work pays off.

Nah I think it was more or less luck. The idea in itself isn't very original and it was done before. He didn't make the engine or whatever it was by himself either.Art Axiv said:The game didn't write itself! I have to say, it is pretty amazing how well Minecraft is doing. I got it at the tail end of Alpha, and I'm still playing it regularly.
