Why isn't the entire game like those maps it would be so much more interesting.

It's that song...every time, every trailer, that song. It makes me want to get this game.

This makes me want to buy Mirror's Edge.

Also am I the only one reminded of the PS1 game where you played as a beach ball hopping on cubes?

Ill get it when it comes out for pc hopefully, although i may wait to see if gamers are protesting about MAKING PEOPLE PAY FOR MAPS, which are essentially mods, which you don't usually pay for, unless its a mod turned COMMERCIAL QUALITY FULL GAME.

I seriously hope that its free.

I was expecting "scary" as in L4D levels re-done. Is this scary as in scared-of-heights scary?
Anyway, I guess this is pretty cool. Wasn't thinking this was the type of game to release DLC, but I guess I am wrong. Still not sure if I should buy it though, although this has definitely increased my interest in it.

Kula World, and no >)

Also, I agree with other sentiments. ME's appears to actually have some interesting things coming. Just a shame that the main game was short enough for me to play through in a single weekend sitting.

The time trial pack reminds me of the mirrors edge crysis levels using the sandbox2 solid tool, a strange circle if the DLC was somehow influenced by the first video.
Next video is the creator of the agility.xml for crysis but a shame he didn't show that guns work whilst wallrunning

These new maps actually remind me of some of the Quake III Trick-Jump maps.

Yeah, a lot of those kind of games in general, like the one on xbox arcade. Think its called marble blast. Anyway, it should have been included in the final game and not being sold separately, but Im going to buy it anyway. Im pretty pro at this game so I think I can handle it.

edit: they also seem to understand what was the negative things about the game so it looks like they listened to the reviews. Just read the description from ea on youtube.

Let me know when DICE gets around to skinning those polygons. There's so much potential in the game's control scheme it's just too bad that DICE doesn't get it.

It looks like someone took a bucket of bleach and a grenade to Escher's artwork.

I find the whole style to be rather refreshing.

The control scheme is actually the second worst part of the game, the first being the utter lack of clear in game objectives despite the use of Runner vision. The lack of a centre camera button and this really nonsensical insistance on traditional fps stick controls cause the game to break down particularly towards the end. They should have used a legacy stick setting as it makes for more natural movement which is important in a game like Mirror's Edge.

I actually rather like the control scheme, but maybe I am just weird. I worked for me, but maybe its because I am left handed, so I can hit the button faster than my right hand.

And these look freaking sweet, I can't wait for it.
