There's a new Gorrillas song, with a bit in the middle and you can hear some whisper "Chips".

There was a thread like this on radio 6 that day, and they were playing songs that people mishear the lyrics in, and havin a laugh. Man i love radio 6.

Edit. Ive just now realised that I forgot to mark my 1337 post.... well 1773 will have to do.

Mine is your so vein by Carly Simon. I honestly misheard most of the song but the worst bit was the line. "And when your not your with some underworld spy or the wife of a close friend"
Which I heard as, "And when your not your with some other girl's guy or the wife of a postman." I think I liked it better my way.

When we were kids, both my brother and I thought Paula Abdul was singing "Zap the Zits on Track!" instead of "Opposites Attract"

And I have no trouble understanding Bob Dylan, thankyouverymuch! At least not his early stuff. His most recent stuff... well you all have a point.

Tina, by I want to say Flyleaf, from Guitar Hero 3.
I can't recall what the ACTUAL lyrics are, but there is one point where she says, I swear to god, "I missed my chance for sex with Martians."
It's not the real lyric, but I will swear to you it's better than the REAL Lyric.

I don't know if anyone had mentioned this one yet but Manfred Mann's Blinded by the light.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcWVL4B-4pI

One part in the song goes Blinded by the light revved up like a deuce another runner in the night, sounds an awful lot like rapped up like a douche another rumor in the night.

I'm dyslexic so as a child before it was identified my ability to process spoken word was poor. This produced some classics such as

"She's got a chicken to ride
my baby donkey!" by the Beatles

"I feel a baboon rising
....
don't go loud tonight
you're bound beat your wife
heeey there's a bathroom on the right"
by CCR

I was a prodigy I know.

-Big Old Jet Airliner, "Big old Jeb had a light on," courtesy of my ex.
-Enter Sandman, "And a baked apple pie!" also courtesy of my ex.

'Turbo Lover' by Judas Priest... I always misheard it as 'Turtle Lover', and my friend always heard it as 'Your Grandma's Lover'.

even though it is "a Bad moon on the Rise"
