I cannot believe this is actually going to happen. I had to watch this video about three times before I believed it.

Pandas... I cannot even begin to fathom how... just... stupid it is.

And htf will they be dual-faction? Are you going to have one neutral race or can you choose a Horde Panda or a Alliance Panda.

This is cute for a joke but how can people actually take the Pandas seriously? I would laugh every time I saw one of them? And really a Monk class? This is getting so cliche it hurts.

The only thing I like is the awesome architecture and landscapes, but even then, the place is CHINA. (or Japan)

I just... I am actually amazed with how terrible the entirity of this thing is. I intended on going back to WoW in December but... wow, not anymore. This is so bad it's insulting.

Blizz jumped the shark when they released WoW. I'm pretty sure "project Titan" will only be a new IP to the extent of being an amalgamation of their three games slopped together. Though I would be interested to see what kind of massive shit they take on the Warcraft lore this go round.

It's also humorous to read some of the comments on the WoW Dedicated websites how people are super excited over all of this. Wrapped right around Blizzard's finger I say. Also a smart move on Blizzard's part, pay an annual WoW subscription and you get Diablo 3 for free, so they could hide those dropping subscription numbers.

EDIT: Another feature's up on the site, dungeons are going to have 'best times', meaning people in PuGs are going to be even more irritating, hurrying you even more, and flaming you until their keyboards break if you stop moving forwards for a nanosecond.

Screw you guys. I think WoW is still fun. I think this expansion looks amazing, I'm excited for it, and I'm going to play it. You guys who are hating on WoW, you're just following a fad of hating popular games. Is WoW too mainstream for you cool gaming hipsters out there? Play WoW causally, and stop trying to be harcore with it, and you might not be so burned out with the game. Oh do shut up. I love(d) WoW. I'll defend it ardently as one of the finest MMOs of all time, and the dominant MMO of its generation. I'll praise it high and praise it low. But this fucking expansion looks ridiculous. And I LIKED the Pandaren. There's only so much of this kind of yuk-yuk content you can lean on before the whole thing becomes a joke.

If that's what they want to be...the cheesy, lame-o MMO with preposterous content...then bravo, I guess. From April Fools joke to expansion pack. They delayed the Emerald Dream AGAIN for this rubbish?

Well, I can see that the main difference in our philosophies is that I really like pandas for some reason, and the oriental theme, to me, feels like a very new and exciting direction. I was merely upset over senseless WoW hating, but if pandas and psuedo-Chinese atmospheres are not your thing, then I can see how people would be having a problem with the expansion.

I'm undecided on this expansion. I like World of warcraft and have all the expansions and I wouldn't have a problem particularly with this new one if it wasn't following Cataclysm. As a follow up to an interesting and quite dark lore based expansion, bringing in pandas just seems too cutesy.

It just doesn't fit!

I want the emerald dream more than this.

they were a joke race, but EVERY SINGLE PERSON ive talked to about them, is like "OMFG, WHY NO MORE PANDAS?" so as jokey as they were they left their mark.

Also, tbh, i woulda preferred to be a hordified Val'kyr post-Cata rather then a freaking goblin...

Wow jumed the shark long ago. I loved vanilla Wow, achieved what I wanted then I quit. No expansion was able to get me back in and the new one wont either. GW 2 seems the only innovative MMORPG right now so maybe it will finally be able to kick WOW from the throne.
I'm curious about the other race - there aren't many choices so how about mermaids??? It can hardly get more ridicioulus than werewolfes ...

Why does every MMO have to have a Japan-themed portion by law now? Look, Japan is very cool. We like Japan. Doesn't mean it has to be in every game, all the time.

Kind of surprised it took them so long, to be honest. They should have gotten crap like this out of the way early, because now it just seems like stalling (what about the big, world-ending dragon, eh?!). Imagining how the monsters there could be so much stronger than anything else so far just because they're overseas kind of boggles the mind.

Hell, even Dofus had a drunken panda warrior class and Eastern-themed island long ago. It was almost original then. One of my characters is one, actually.

Firstly, you mean china right? Giant pandas come from china.

And secondly, pandaren have existed since warcraft 3, particularly in frozen throne when they were playable units. Warcraft 3 has existed for 2 years before dofus came out...

The thing that makes me the most sad about this expansion was that the pandaren was a joke race in WC3 made by Samwise (the art director). And now they are making an expansion out of a rather insignificant joke.

Okay it was a pretty cool joke, and I have had secretly wished for the pandaren to get a little love in WoW, but I was expecting just a faction, maybe a zone, with dailies and whatnot.
