That's very heartwarming, I love these stories. If I wanted to do this, I'd probably just re-arrange the buttons in such a way that you'd lay your hand flat on the controller, using the index and ring fingers for analogs, your thumb for A/B/X/Y, middle finger for trigger, and maybe your baby finger for bumpers or something (I'm using the XB360 controller as a base because I don't own a gamecube), but his way looks much better. I'm sure his brother would love this, if only because of the thought put into it.

That's so cute.
I would definitely attempt something like this if either of my siblings suffered some sort of accident.
I adore stories like this.

I've got to hand it to him, that's pretty awesome. Terrible puns aside, that controller looks more appealing to me than both Kinect and Move.

Oh, and also, 'vague masturbation joke'

Restores your faith in human kindness this kid of thing.
Definitely. I actually felt all warm inside after reading this story. Human kindness is an amazing thing, isn't it? You think it's dead, and then here is a story that fills you with faith.

that is super awesome, i seriously dont know if i could do that for my brother

but i have been waiting for fucking years for them to use your bloody ass ring finger for a button! they dont have to make it a primary key at all, make it use potions or whatever item you want to on the side or something, and its not even uncomfortable i bet, they need to buy that idea from this dude asap

That's so awesome and a really beautiful thing for him to do for his bro :D

Hope some company takes him on, helps him perfect the design and market it, I'm sure other people might be interested in it as well.

That is truly awesome! Now the only thing he has to do is get the motion controller to detect more then 45 degrees, say maybe 10 so the turning isn't as difficult as it seemed. However, it is still very well done!

I'm not disabled but I want one just so I can be super lazy and be on the phone or something and game at the same time.
I think a majority of people would do this

Nice modding, it looked like it handled Mario Kart pretty well, the guy is just terrible at it.
I think part of that was intentional dicking around on his part. The driving still wasn't great, but at the end he just said screw it.

But that was still an awesome thing for him to do for his brother.
