Custom PC had a hands on with it a little while ago, they weren't overly enthusiastic. More specifically, they were quite impressed with the spectacle and production values, but when the Activision rep told them that a 'cool' selling point was that they could pick up guns from dead enemies for more ammo, they knew there was nothing new to see.
Picking up fallen guns for ammo is a selling point? What [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FlatWhat]

Longer =/= Not shit. Fact.

You haven't shown anyone anything to impressed over for MW3 guys. Might want to step to that.

And I absolutely love how you can jump to massive conclusions over just a few lines. First off, I did read the article. Thoroughly. But we're talking about the physical length of the game itself, not the length of time people spend playing it. A 100m track is 100m long, regardless of whether it's run in 10 seconds or 20.
You do realise that the length of a game is determined by how long it takes to beat it right? We are not talking about the physical length of the game because that is a 100% useless and probably impossible to determine number. Plus what makes you think he knows exactly how long it takes to beat both MW2 and 3?
I refer you to my previous point:

Activision will have had a horde of beta-testers playing through the game and they'll know the average length of a play-through. Plus they'll know exactly how big the game is (and how much ground the player has to cover) in scale miles, which again can be compared to the scale milage in MW2 to give a definitive, yes it is/no it isn't, answer.
And I think the guy knows how long it takes to complete both games because he's released a press statement to that effect. You don't make a PR release about the length of your game compared to MW2 if you don't know the length of your game compared to MW2.

Sounds good to me. I'm more concerned about certain questions being answered--still don't know who Raptor is--but if the campaign is longer, that's a plus. I'll admit Modern Warfare 2's campaign was a bit short, but it felt about the same length as other shooters nowadays.

"Feels longer"? Does that mean we'll be raging at ridiculously bad moments which force you to kill overwhelming odds because you're AI partners are walking into a wall or just standing there blankly? If the leaked information is true, then MW3's campaign will actually be more absurd, faster-paced and involve at least as many wacky plot spoilers.

Dude, get off his back. From what I've seen in the comments, he's the only one who's not a blathering ignorant COD hater. And by the way, who give's a shit how long the game is anyway? As long as you got a fun, enjoyable experience out of the campaign, that's all that should count.
