My roomies got this game at midnight and we played the game about an hour later. Apparently there are people that have already gotten to level 25 and higher.

I have enjoyed the past CODs to varying degrees and I will probably get MW3 at some point I'm just waiting for more reviews and details so I can tell if its different enough from the others to make me what to get it.

I'm not saying it isn't fun I just don't know if it adds enough to get my sixty dollars.

I've been watching a lot of the walkthroughs and it looks ok. But gameplay wise, it is just more of the same Arcade style shoot em up. I know that Cods thing, but I think it is more of a rental.

I think my wife picked it up this morning, we're sure to be playing split screen later tonight; shooting around the neighborhood she works in.

So this one looks good? What about on the ps3. The only other one I played was Blops and that wasn't a terrible port. Not like something from Bethesda or Sega.

I was about to comment on this as well. I'm by no means a German linguistics expert, but who the hell did they hire to do this crap? Unacceptable.
Hopefully the German version will have "A Arcade" and "Please crap".

Also, whenever someone says "all modern FPSes are gray and brown and look the same" I'm like "pff, hell no". But this, I couldn't even tell what was part of the car, and what was part of the gun in the first picture..

Graphics look like crap, gameplay is the same..................but I still had fun playing it at my friends house last night, especially on Kill Confirmed, less campers-mad-mad-rush -nutters-gun-on-gun-fun.

Having had to sell this all day today and regarding the Elite thing, all you need to ask yourself is, am I going to buy all the map packs that come out? If yes then elite gets you them all for about 15 quid cheaper plus you get all the other extra nonsense with it.

So if you want cheaper map packs get elite. Simple.

Want a better game however? Buy Deus Ex.

But...but...then that would throw off the yearly release cycle and they might have to actually patch the game for awhile, instead of just releasing a new one!
