Modern Warfare 3 Looks Purty

I am saving my money for Skyrim, Hell, I haven't even gotten to level 50 in MW2, Guess I never will if i can't find players on those servers.

Day 1 finished, level 41 reached and a pretty average kdr of 1.5 achieved. Am I enjoying the game? Yes. Am I ever going to touch the single player? No. I am so annoyed that Skyrim is coming out now as well, I don't have enough time to play both, which means I am hitting lvl 80 before Skyrim's release and then getting back into it a few weeks after Skyrim.

Graphics are pretty much identical to MW2, you will have to look hard to find a difference. But then the game pretty much is MW2, which I like. You are kidding yourself if you think its a wholly new game.

At this point, I just want to point out that the average gameplay length is probably around 5-7 hours for single player. So you could take a brief break from your kill streaks, maybe a portion of a day, and just play through the entire single player before Friday when Skyrim dominates our lives to the detriment of everyone else except CoD players.

It's too bad I can't afford to purchase any new games until xmas, I wish I could contribute my vote toward the games I care about...

I feel bad for Skyrim too, because all the people who aren't usually RPG people, who would have given skyrim a shot, won't now. Ah well, I'm still gonna be playing the shit out of it.

My roomies got this game at midnight and we played the game about an hour later. Apparently there are people that have already gotten to level 25 and higher.

I have enjoyed the past CODs to varying degrees and I will probably get MW3 at some point I'm just waiting for more reviews and details so I can tell if its different enough from the others to make me what to get it.

I'm not saying it isn't fun I just don't know if it adds enough to get my sixty dollars.

I've been watching a lot of the walkthroughs and it looks ok. But gameplay wise, it is just more of the same Arcade style shoot em up. I know that Cods thing, but I think it is more of a rental.

I think my wife picked it up this morning, we're sure to be playing split screen later tonight; shooting around the neighborhood she works in.

So this one looks good? What about on the ps3. The only other one I played was Blops and that wasn't a terrible port. Not like something from Bethesda or Sega.

I was about to comment on this as well. I'm by no means a German linguistics expert, but who the hell did they hire to do this crap? Unacceptable.
Hopefully the German version will have "A Arcade" and "Please crap".

Also, whenever someone says "all modern FPSes are gray and brown and look the same" I'm like "pff, hell no". But this, I couldn't even tell what was part of the car, and what was part of the gun in the first picture..
