Good to see somebody trying to help disabled people. Where are Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo when it comes to things like these?
Looking into patent law in attempts to stop it happening most likely.

Now they just have to find out how to make them edible and how to use them as underwear...

I bet people would use this to find the optimum controller setup for an in-game advantage.

This is an awesome idea. I'd love to see it be a modular type setup. So you could set up the controller anyway you want.

Great idea, however as it is... well it looks like the buttons would fall off as you played and it be uncomfortable to hold..
Well, he does say in the video that it took him under two hours to build the prototype. If they were to into mass production of this controller, as he said he hopes to, I'm sure they'd spend a couple extra hours on the drawing board to give it a better design.

But yeah, this definitely gets a thumbs-up from me. I always have moments of dread when I consider how my primary hobby would be devastated if I were to become disabled in certain ways, so it's nice knowing there's guy like this out there keeping an eye out for the little guy (or in this case the gimp guy).

Looks pretty rudimentary so far. I think this is going to go places once they can get some more time to perfect the design.

A good stride in terms of customization.

However, will something like this work for motion-sensitive controls? If they were to remake the PS3 controller, how would they deal with SIXAXIS? (Assuming they wanted to, of course.)

That cool, one of my friends on 360 is paralyzed and has his own special setup for gaming. He's pretty good too!
