Just as long as the options aren't unlocks. I hate liking an item only to find everybody uses it just because you need 1000 headshots with a spork for the pimp hat and they think it makes them uber leet or whatever
This. Customisation in Reach through the Armoury is brilliant, every Spartan looks different. My guy, with an EOD-variant helmet and a whole lot of extra armour plates - which don't look big enough to impede movement - looks like some sort of spec-ops person built to move and withstand damage while dishing it out.MetroidNut said:In Halo: Reach, my armor looks as tactical and realistic as I could get it to. My steel hue makes me difficult to spot in urban terrain, or simply in darkness, with a deep blue highlight to provide identification. My profile is low, save for a hardened uplink module on the side of my helmet.
My friend looks like an armored Heavy Weapons Guy.
Customization? Yes, I think Reach has that covered. And I'm pretty much content with that level of customization (the kind that doesn't affect gameplay).
I should add you, then I could show you this sweet Idea I had, personally I think its the most original idea for a map.Theron Julius said:Indeed. Especially with the new forge system. Now that we aren't so constrained by the physics engine, anything is possible. Personally I want to make an invasion map that focuses on rapid troop movement, while my friends are working on some crazy race tracks.Terminate421 said:Its needed, other wise it just doesn't feel right
This is where Halo Succeeds. It can be almost any shooter. Hell, it can even not be a shooter at all (If you make the right map and game type)
If I had the right friends, it could be a good horror game (give the victims plasma pistols and make the "infected" a ton of health and make it dark and such)
