More Dead Space on the Way

Yeah I know, in hindsight I should be more enthusiastic about the possibilty of finding the Ark of the Covenant in my local sandpit. Because knowing Hollywood, that's more likely to happen then a Dead Space movie not being screwed up

I like the idea of more Dead Space but in order for it to work (for me, at least) it'll have to be a plausible continuation of the story and gameplay that was established in the original. No gimmickry, no retconning, no highly coincidental nonsense to explain an awkwardly shoe-horned turn of events. If that happens, I'm in - Dead Space was a very pleasant surprise for me and if EA is going to put the effort into it, I'm really happy to see them supporting it as an IP.

Two sequels and a movie!? I know they were trying to develop it as a franchise, but I expected it to be a little more organic than a media onslaught. Only a matter of time till they get a countdown teaser site, a graphic novel and 3 different editions of each game.

already a graphic novel, it isn't bad either...
