Most badass characters?

First, they destroy a fleet of battleships on their own. Then they team up with a bunch of crappy robots and Leo Stenbuck to fight, like 500~1000 unmanned orbital frames while trying to keep everyone else alive.
That's a lot of asses to kick, especially when your flying robot doesn't really have any feet.

Most of the player characters in the Grand Theft Auto series are one man armies. Niko Bellic was in the Serbian army which makes him even deadlier than most of the others. Victor Vance was also in the army as well so I could see him an Niko being better than a one man army.

Pretty much any character in Resident Evil (with the exception of Ashley Graham). You name it, mansions, trains, cities, small villages, big castles etc they just fight their way through it, and unless you're Leon (y'know becomes infected, shot) they seem to come out of those encounters without a single scratch, and they seem to be OK mentally too, if I had just fought my way through a city full of zombies, I sure as hell wouldn't be a government agent etc doing the same damn thing.
