Most badass characters?

i agree with people saying Max Payne, i love the whole series, have played it trough a lot of times.
The guy can shoot someone right in the face with a sawn-off, and has time (In maxed-out slow-motion at least) to run behind the guy and shoot him again. Well, at least that was doable in the second game. And he was always overdosed with those painkillers. Tough guy.

Also Gordon Freeman. And Carl Johnson from GTA San Andreas. He's an unstoppable killing machine.

In all seriousness though, you can either believe the character can pull it off or you don't. People like Max Payne or Shepard, you think they can be one man armies. People like Collette (in tales of Symphonia) who can cause ridiculous levels of damage feel out of place and don't really work.

Alec Mason. Sledgehammer > EVERYTHING. Try taking down an EDF Tank with it at some point, it's scarily easy and possible for a damn tank.

i think the rest of the guys should die. because there's no way a simple man could kill 10000 men, and still return to his/her home for coffee (except the guys in powersuits, they might do it too)
