It would have to be Sephiroth, when he fights you in Kingdom Hearts II.

He does this random thing where the screen lights up or goes black (I forget which one) and then he automatically hits you for, like... A billion damage. So it's essentially a one hit kill. I was the highest level possible and I tried several times before I beat him. I have no idea if there's some strategy or any way to counter it, but in the end, it only takes about 50 potions and 20 hours of preparation for you to win.
Are you kidding me? This fight was so much easier than the Kingdom hearts 1 battle. It toook me several tries but there are no one hit kills if you are prepared. KH1 Sephiroth's sin attack was brutal and practicallly unavoidable.

It really doesn... oh it actually does.

Summoner 2, the Blood boss(s) when you're in that place between worlds. WHY WON'T THEY JUST DIE! I know why because all the damage they do to you they get back as hit points. Not too bad except that there is three of them in the first place and an invulnerable thing in the middle buffing and healing them and you can only hit it for about a second every seventeen minutes because that's how long they takes to die and after they die, they just come back and it goes invulnerable again >.<

Note to self, NEVER RUSH THROUGH THAT GAME. Levelling needed

Omega Weapon on FF8, 9998 damage to all party members, that son-of-a-*****, plus he normally gets another attack straight afterwards

Ehh...not so much a horrible, world-ending boss...but I thought one of his special moves was particularly clever and life-ending if executed properly.

The final form of Ramirez/Zelos from Skies of Arcadia when he busts out "Silver Nightmare". Guaranteed to go first before your turn in the round, seizes control of one of your party members and then proceeds to have the mind-controlled sucker let loose with the most devastating special move in your arsenal.

The worst example being Vyse's "Pirate's Wrath": which for the most part in my play experience was maxed out to the point that it ended everything that looked at me funny.

...actually as I think about it, there were a LOT of "WTF!" attacks from Skies of Arcadia bosses. Particularly the Bounty Hunt optional bosses if you had the patience to deal with the self-righteous jerks.

The innocent looking white bunny rabbit in Ascherons Call back in the day in reverence to the monty python sketch. Dont know if they still have itl.

You could combat that move of Sephiroth if you had a white ribbon or something like that, I forget what it was that reduced the damage then you could just resurrect the other party members. Was too long ago I played it so very vague memory of it. FFXII Yiazmat is pretty hard if you restrict yourself from leaving the arena.

Tabuu's one-hit kill in Brawl. Unless you dodge at the right moment, it will kill you.

On a side note, it may have taken forever, but I have beaten Tabuu on intense ^.^

The Guardian Legend for NES. Grimgrin.

Bigass flying alien critter with five eyes, four little ones and a big one in the middle, that (apart from being eyes) shoot eyes AT you. Shoot him enough and his bottom two eyes die, then more and his top two eyes die, then even more and his giant eye dies. When it does, he turns bright red and hundreds of, you guessed it, spinning eyes come pouring out of the hole where his eye used to be. All of this in a level with a tastefull blood-and-muscle theme.

Easily the most disgusting, and hardest, boss I've ever had to take down.

There's a video on youtube of the fight, just do yourself a favor and turn the sound down - they did something truly awful to the game's usually rockin' soundtrack.

Bossfight starts at 1:13 or so.

Super Saian Rampage Rabbit's Healing Carrot move from Summon Night Swordcraft Story 2

This Boss is pure EVIL! He has a ridiculous amount of HP and defense so damaging him is a chore.
He is a fast, small hard to hit target with devastating attacks.
But just when you thought that you were making progress against him...

HE HEALS A THIRD OF HIS LIFE!
The worst part is that he can use this move 4 TIMES!!
That one move turns an unfair fight to a fight that is Nightmarashly Impossible.

The Key to sucess? Pure raw levels. You finish the game at level 50 or so, but you won't even scratch him until you hit level 80 or higher...

HARDEST BOSS FIGHT EVER

i got a long, long, list.

in DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi there is a battle where u must survive 60 seconds as goku against gorilla vegeta. HE KILLS YOU ON 5 FREAKIN HITS.

Typhon in Titan Quest. he shoots meteors into the sky (he channels, and its only safe time to strike. if ur stunned by his lightning bolts, ur fucked. if u simply touch em, ur fucked. if ur stun UNDER the meteors, your barbecue.

Cerberus in Titan Quest and his cursed floor cracks. theres cracks in 1/3 of his room and when he growls, fires are started in em. if u graze em, ur crispy barbecue.

Ormenos in Titan Quest. its not instant kill, but his cave-ins damage a pain in the ass lot of hp. and after he has called the rocks down, u cant walk over them AND he can throw with them for 1/3 of your health.

Havent played it, but Sephiroth in KH2 is crazy. i think his "descend heartless angel" is all too powerful. all ur mana is gone and u is thrown to 1 hp.

The Sorceress in spyro 3. her lightning ball rain is fucking crazy. hits 1/2 of the room. ur ALWAYS hit once if ur not a spyro freak. (i only played spyro 3).

Aktaios in Titan Quest. about every 20% of his hp, he makes sunbeams 5 places around the room. if u step in those, ur dead on 2 secs.

Charan in Titan Quest: Immortal Throne. he makes some geysers of water around himself now and then, and if they touch you, your fucked. also, when u´ve killed him first time, he transforms and all his attacks damages about ½ ur hp. its fucking crazy. EACH AND EVERY SINGLE SPELL AND ATTACK.

Megalesios in Titan Quest. after fighting through the minoan Labyrinth and Defeating the original meteor, ur faced with this telkine. he is not that bad, his attacks kill u in 5 hits (thats really low in TQ). but he summons some demons called Limos´ that u have faced in the labyrinth and in greeke and on crete too. but instead of them getting hp, he gains it. AND THE HEALING IS ENOUGH TO MAX HIS HP ON 6 SECONDS.

The tank form L4D on No mercy roof top, if he hits you outside the little room then you just get smacked off the roof
not if u hit a wall, a generator or something else, but its not always. its just about not standing the wrong places.

About that... I never played Kingdom Hearts I. Well I did, but it was at a friend's house and I was only able to get to the Tarzan level. So from my Kingdom Hearts experience, Sephiroth was the hardest.

Bad Girl in No More Heroes. When she starts crying and does the one-hit kill attack. By God I lost to that ***** something like, 10 times before getting it right.
