Eh.... The faults I have with Dark Souls II weren't really present in the first game.delta4062 said:To be fair I think people view Dark Souls as a much better game than what it actually is. So much so that they pick apart the faults of 2 more easily.ShinyCharizard said:Honestly... I was crushingly disappointed with Dark Souls II. It just wasn't a good follow up to the first game.
This though.... This I agree with.delta4062 said:Most disappointing game I've played this year is Bioshock Infinite though (Free with PS Plus). It's just...utter shite.
I find it the perfect sequel. It Improves on the first in every way.ShinyCharizard said:Honestly... I was crushingly disappointed with Dark Souls II. It just wasn't a good follow up to the first game.
Same here, I felt it got over hyped when I actually started playing it and the core fan base refuses to acknowledge its not as great as its predecessor and not really a top game of the year candidate.ShinyCharizard said:Honestly... Really? Cause I think it's better in some ways then Dark Souls. As for the fan base not acknowledging it as being on par or better then the first one it seems as though they're pretty split on the issue. Also don't treat it as a fact that it's not as great as it's core predecessor cause there's a lot of people out there who would say it's even better the the last.Black Haze said:Same here, I felt it got over hyped when I actually started playing it and the core fan base refuses to acknowledge its not as great as its predecessor and not really a top game of the year candidate.ShinyCharizard said:Honestly... Are the controls that different from RE4, which are perfectly fine controls?Samael Barghest said:Resident Evil 5. I was looking for something new and the game was only 6 bucks. The first mission in and I realized that this game had horrible controls that had to be designed by someone who's never played a game before.
I've played the game 2 or 3 times with an actual co-op buddy and it was lots of fun. I've only replayed a few scenarios with an AI partner but it was only to farm treasure and stuff like that, so I don't really know just how aggravating the AI is. But take my word for it, try co-op if you can. All the nuisance that will be left will be the extraordinarily imbecile plot.the hidden eagle said:I have'nt played the game in years but RE5's controls are clunky and generally designed for the game to be played with two players. The partner AI is brain dead as well.Johnny Novgorod said:Are the controls that different from RE4, which are perfectly fine controls?Samael Barghest said:Resident Evil 5.
