"Why is everything so sci-fi?"
"Where are the moogles and chocobos?"
"Why isn't there any magic?"
"Why is nobody summoning anything?"
"What the hell is this plot about, souls of dead alien races and shit?"
But, yeah, if you've never played an FF-game before, I guess it's pretty good (Steve Buscemi totally has to do more voice acting). They should have just called it "Spirits Within" though, not associate the whole FF-franchise with it.
As for my pick of the day: The Spirit. I was really hoping for something in the line of Sin City, you know, since the writer and artist of Sin City was actually on the job! But no, a bunch of pretty pictures here and there, nothing more.
