That guy from that zombie movie where they rip his lower half off and keep eating him while he is alive.

he shouts "Eat it" "Choke on my flesh !"
Dawn of the Dead I think... or Day of the Dead. it's definately one of George's ones.

When the garden lady is killed by the captain of Icarus while finding out that there was a sole plant left in the garden. That one really got to me.

Well I think we've finally exhausted all possible Sunshine deaths lol, and quite a few other Danny Boyle films.

When the guy has to climb repeatedly into the freezing cold water to save everyone else... man that was tough to watch.
Or the guy that gets frozen over in space...Or the guy that gets melted by only the sun's reflection (or something like it)...

Man, that movie had some tragic deaths...Except the last one..That one was beautiful.
Yeah, I found the last hour of that movie such an emotional gutpunch... the climax at the end was indeed a beautiful, powerful scene.

The music was fantastic too. In fact, that whole damn movie was just plain great.

Just thought of another one. In the movie made to fit Pink Floyd's "The Wall" the childeren walking into the meatgrinder. That was somewhat disturbing but then again the whole movie was all sorts of fucked up.

yep the whole Nazi part was pretty intense. I suppose there are alot of creepy deaths in music videos as well, the infamous Robbie Williams Rock Dj one for instance. Basically starts tearing his skin, muscles and organs off while dancing.

Anyone who has ever died in a Tarantino film.
Even when they shot Marvin in the face? Mine would be the hanging in Hannibal. It's part of what turned me off the film, as the prequel's murders all had a sort of 'style' to them.

Awesome yet slightly disturbing for how realistic it was: The Bear Jew vs. the Nazi in "Inglourious Basterds"

Disturbing as all hell: Final director's death in "Cannibal Apocolypse"

Barbed wire monster raping the priestess lady in the Silent Hill movie...and the pyramid head clone tearing all of that one girl's skin off and throwing it at a door her couldn't enter.
that's the first thing i thought of when i saw this topic.
also, in one of the Final Destination movies, this blonde chick gets her head cut off by elevator doors after her hair gets caught on a hook (or something).
And then, in one of Resident Evil movies, a guy literally gets cut to bits by this laser security system thing. actually, all of the 'laser' deaths in that movie creep me out.

Many Takashi Miike - like Ôdishon with the cheese wire cutting the feet off
pretty gruesome, but does it count? The guy doesn't die....
Didn't he? I must admit it's been several years since I watched it - the image still sticks in my mind as quite disturbing, so I say it counts! =D

Eyes do it for me. So with that in mind, the scene in 28 weeks later where Robert Carlyle kills his wife!

*shudder*

This is clearly the most disturbing death anyone can see in a movie.

Cookie for the first to figure out why.
Because it's hilariously shit.
Because it's apparently the first horror movie ever made, it's rumoured that it's real but it isn't it's a special effect (Rather smart for the time) if you look at 00:22 or 00:23 you'l see it skip suddenly, that's were they changed it to a dummy.

Yeah I've been a gore-fiend for a loooong time, so I had to think about this one. I'd say the one movie death that really disturbed me would have to be in The Blob remake where the poor bastard is trying to scream while being digested...

Disturbing bad: Body Double(an old slasher flick I saw some time ago). Some killer breaks into a chick's house and attempts to murder her with a gigantic drill. After 10 full minutes of struggling and near-misses, she gets brutally killed just as the protagonist reaches her house. I was like: "Ah, give the guy a break!"
Holy CRAP, you read my mind. I was going to pick that scene as my most disturbing death for the exact reasons you laid out, (I was just a kid when I saw Body Double so that scene messed with my head, What? She can't die?!? Where's the goddamn hero?) but it was just edged out by The Blob... Good movie though, huh?
