This is clearly the most disturbing death anyone can see in a movie.

Cookie for the first to figure out why.
was it real or something?
I think it's more to do with the fact that it seems like a clip that a character watches in a film seconds before the ghost comes out of the scream and destroys them...

everything Funny Games. Funny Games is really disturbing. So disturbing that most people who see it get offended. I wouldn't recommend it usually but that entire movie is just sadistic. Viewers beware.
ZOMG THIS!!!
I came to this thread specifically to mention this movie. I actually liked the movie... but SOOOOO disturbing... it gets into your head.

every death in Attack of the Killer Condom
for obvious reasons that you can guess from the title
even though most movies you see on late night SBS are quite disturbing

I cant believe only one person mentioned the stabbing scene at the end of saving private ryan. I find myself pleading for something else to happen every time. Also a couple minutes before that when the anti aircraft gun shoots the guys on the tank; they were doin so well and then they all get blown up, not cool

The mummy returns, a guy gets ripped appart by the scorpion king...fun

yeah the death in burn after reading made me sad. the way he smiles right before it...

I think theres some Jackie cahn movie where a guy gets his head put into a woodchipper and still haunted by that scene.

How bout Die Hard 2 the guy gets sucked into a jet turbine.

Still saving private ryans the most disturbing to me...God Damn i wish he would survive just once

For me off the top off my head it would have to be the guy who gets his head swallowed by that slug thing in King Kong (2005)...
This. A thousand times this. There's something so UTTERLY WRONG about a person being overpowered and/or devoured by something insect- or grub-like I can barely take it. I've always had a problem with the facehuggers in the Alien movies, and then I had to see THIS. I was 20 when I first saw the movie and I had to leave the room, it was so horrible... even thinking about it right now makes my skin crawl.
And getting introduced to both the Halflife head crabs and the Flood from Halo afterwards didn't do much to settle my nerves, either.

I think the most disturbing deaths are those with an air of plausibility. Most horror movies are graphic, but somehow displaced from reality, horror movies generally being supernatural or just a load of bobbins. Gore splatters, end, yawn.

The most disturbing death I think is at the end of "Dead Ringers" by David Cronenberg.

In Se7en, when that guy has sex with the hooker with a knife on his wang. That skeeved me out and I don't even have a c*nt.
This is what I was going to say. Even though you don't actually see it, the cringe factor is through the roof.

You mean the dogs? How was that disturbing?
Well i'll admit I laughed at the first two dog deaths, the third was kinda disturbing, but its more the fish scene, still a really funny movie though.

I think its becuase everything goes silent for a while then the camera just settles in on poor Lumpy and well you know.

Hellboy 2 Tooth Fairys.
In case you dont know, they pull out your teeth, eat them, them eat the rest of you. Imagine that for a second. Thousands of tiny drills, ripping into your flesh.

Also getting killed by Samael in Hellboy 1. Jesus Christ, look at him tear those guys up!
Yeah this takes the cake.
