I say that it's when a main character dies in Call of Duty 2: Big Red 1, or at the end of the last Polish level in Call of Duty 3.

No way. Final Fantasy VII's
Aeris Dies
trumps that of any game ever.

Awesome post.

A lot of scenes from Bioshock.
Bioshock and Mass Effect are my two top story games. Love them both. May buy bioshock for the 360 despite having a PC version

Bioshock:
Andrew Ryan forces you to kill him using your trigger words: "Would You Kindly?"

KOTOR's twist really spun the whole world, but I give it to Bioshock's little golfing lesson with Andrew Ryan.

most dramatic just had to be in Fable 2:
I knew I was on the last mission in the game, and suddenly I wake up as a child again on some fantasy farm - right away I knew the scene was no good and had a bad feeling in my stomach. So, they let you run around and do some "fun" things until bed time, and then you get woken up in the middle of the night by a terrible sound ... and you go out to investigate ... and Big Sis is tellin you "no, don't go!" ... and you get near the gates and she starts crying ... and you turn the corner ... and the whole game seems to explode, Sis screams andcries, suddenly you're surrounded by dead bodies and burning wreckage, and your family is gone forever ...

One moment that just fills me with adrenalin is near the end of Half Life 2, when Alyx says "Do your worst, Gordon." That, with the music and the elevator...classic.

The dog controlling the whole thing ending?

Most dramatic? COD4 bomb going off was pretty amazing. End of Deadspace.

All that comes to mind right away. Bioshock had one good twist thank you kindly.

I'll admit, this is the first game that literally left me holding my breath. I actually sat on the edge of my seat, breathless at the last few minutes.
