I'll admit, this is the first game that literally left me holding my breath. I actually sat on the edge of my seat, breathless at the last few minutes.

Excellent game. Hope i still get to be Shepard.

-Shadow of the Colossus, when you beat the final colossus and become possessed by Dormin.
-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, with the nuclear explosion

Best damn bait-and-switch I've ever seen, and they've just spent 15 minutes on a bittersweet tale told from the point-of-view of the other characters, who do such an effective job selling the player on the very concept that is then shattered by the climactic scene. Just an amazing use of misdirection all around.

First time I saw it, it definitely got a little dusty in here.

BioShock had a weak story. I found the twists to be more than predictable.

Definitely the most dramatic was the cutscene in System Shock 2 when Polito turns into SHODAN. That was such an oh... SHIIIIT.
