"Faster than a laser bullet"

Painkiller by Judas Priest.

Seriously, The Painkiller is just that fast.
I always thought that the next line, "Louder than an atom bomb" was "Louder than a metal bomb". Which would be by far the most epic way to level an entire city.

Also, from Iron Maiden's The Number of the Beast, "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Maiden rules forever in eternity of everything that is awesome.

Also, priest's Ram it Down has a pretty cool chorus.

"Thousands of cars and a million guitars
screaming with power in the air
we've found the place where the decibels race
this army of rock will be there
to ram it down, ram it down
straight through the heart of this town
ram it down, ram it down
razing the place to the ground
ram it down!"

Gotta love Halford's voice. Makes everything sound incredible.

"To the West you don't know what it is your running from. But, Everybody's laughing loud, your last chance to make your Mother and your Father proud."
"Like a child who believes he was wronged, if you hate me so much than stop singing my songs."
A Moment of Silence- Streetlight Manifesto.

Well, I have a few awesome ones...

"I am so fucking metal!" Made of Metal by Dream Evil.

"KILL! BURN! BE EVIL!!!" Song = Kill, Burn, Be Evil by Dream Evil.

"FIRE! BATTLE! IN METAL!!!" Fire! Battle! In Metal! by Dream Evil.

The entire lyric to Immortal by Dream Evil:

Hell, Dream Evil has lots of epic lyrics.
What's this? Another Dream Evil fan? Could it be?

Dream Evil is one of my go-to bands when I need my power metal fix. You should give Steel Attack and Nocturnal Rites a listen if you're into that sorta music :D

"I've been dreaming about you
In a pool of your own blood,
With your eyes gouged out
By the work of my thumbs,
The scent of your insides
From under the floorboards,
The perfect perfume
For settling a score!"

-From First to Last - Ride the Wings of Pestilence

I have a few lines I love hearing.

"Walk away from the sun, and kill everyone" -Walk Away From The Sun, by Seether
"Premeditation will kill the trust, they'll never know if you fear me" -Like Suicide, by Seether
"And I'm the one you can never trust, 'cause wounds are ways to reveal us" -Breakdown, by Seether.

Yeah, I really like Seether.

I don't know about most epic, but there's a song which has a significant pause in the word 'headphones' such that the line 'She gave me head...phones' takes on a whole different meaning (provided, of course, that you make the connections that the lyricist intended). The song's 'What's the Altitude' by Cut Chemist, by the way.

Other than that, I'm not so sure. I'll think about it and may return later.

Streetlight Manifesto pretty consistently pump out amazing albums, and Tomas Kalnoky is the epitome of brilliant lyricist and songwriting genius. Can't wait to see them live next month ^_^

"They say there's a heaven for those who'll wait,
Some say it's better but I say it ain't,
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints,
You know the sinners are much more fun,
Well darlin' only the good die young"

Start wearing purple, wearing purple
Start wearing purple for me now
All your sanity and wits, they will all vanish
I promise, it's just a matter of time

- Gogol Bordello, Start Wearing Purple

Back in the day, yo, as we learned
A man was not considered to be
Considered to be fully grown
Has he not gone beyond the hills
Has he not crossed the seven seas
(Yeah, seven seas at least!)

Now all them jokers kept around
Just like the scarecrows in hometown
(Yeah, scarecrows in hometown)
From screen to screen they're traveling
But I'm a wonderlust king

-Gogol Bordello, Wonderlust King

"My name is legion. For we...are...many!"
Legion - Hammerfall.
Yes Hammerfall has some great lines.

Then there's stuff like this;
Mr. Torture sells pain/To the housewives in Spain
He knows just what they crave
Mr. Torture/If you're feeling alone
Then just pick up your phone/Dial revenge dial alone
Mr. Torture/Mr. Torture sells pain

Mr. Torture/Helloween
Made me stop and start the song over again the first time I heard it, then laughed my head off when I heard it again.

Iron Maiden "The Trooper"

As i rush head long into certain death
you better stand there's no turning back
The bugle sounds the charge begins
But on this battlefield no one wins
I thought it was

"You take my life, but I'll take yours too,
You fire your musket, but I'll run you through,
So when you're waiting for the next attack,
You better stand there's no turning back"
etc.

Still epic though.

In this bloody dawn
I will wash my soul
To call the spirit of vengeance
To deny my wisdom for anger
To break the scream of the silent fool
To be a knightrider of doom

Yes, it's the ultra-cheesy song Knightrider of doom by Rhapsody

Then i can only think of two songs:
Far away
In a land caught between
Time and space
Where the books of life lay
We fear
This castle of stone
The mountain king roams
All alone in here
But he's not the only one
Lost inside
Forever hidden from the sun

Madness reigns
In the Hall of the Mountain King
Oh yeah

If you don't know this one, go listen to Savatage, and do it NOW!

Some say the end is near.
Some say we'll see armageddon soon.
I certainly hope we will.
I sure could use a vacation from this

Bullshit three ring circus sideshow of
Freaks

Here in this hopeless fucking hole we call LA
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.
Any fucking time. Any fucking day.
Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona bay.

Pardon me but i just love this song, one of the few good by Tool. Ænima it's called....

Tip: The band that used this in their song is Romanian.
What is this, ancient norse? Sounds a lot like my language.....
