Well, I have a few awesome ones...

"I am so fucking metal!" Made of Metal by Dream Evil.

"KILL! BURN! BE EVIL!!!" Song = Kill, Burn, Be Evil by Dream Evil.

"FIRE! BATTLE! IN METAL!!!" Fire! Battle! In Metal! by Dream Evil.

The entire lyric to Immortal by Dream Evil:

Hell, Dream Evil has lots of epic lyrics.
What's this? Another Dream Evil fan? Could it be?

Dream Evil is one of my go-to bands when I need my power metal fix. You should give Steel Attack and Nocturnal Rites a listen if you're into that sorta music :D
Another one? Really? WE ARE ALL UNITED! WE WILL SPREAD THE WORD!!! xD
And to all others looking up Dream Evil now... Welcome to the evil side...

Ok, pointless references to DE songs aside, I'm quite surprised to find another man of metal. Here of all places. We're a rare breed from what I can see. That's too bad... Oh well, which song is the best? :3

And you run and you run
To catch up with the sun buts its sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is eth same in a relative way
But your older, shorter of breath and one day colser to death

Or
Would your maker have opened your eyes if he prefered them closed?

"They say the captain goes down with the ship. So when the world ends, will God go down with it?" Fall Out Boy - "What A Catch, Donnie"

Both lines give me goosebumps. FOB's even as I typed it.
Ninja'd for that line. Amazing on all counts, as are quite a few lines from Razia's Shadow, which I noticed in your avatar.

Particularly from "Holy the Sea":

"There was a boy who shared your bones,
Your eager blood, Your affinity for love.
He had it all in his hands,
and he watched it all turn to sand."

Amazing delivery on those lines. There's also a line from "Strictly Game" by the Harlem Shakes that always inexplicably puts me in a good mood, despite the actual lyric:

"If life gives you lemons, then thus God bade,
So put a little bit of bitter in your pink lemonade."

I'm going to be completely generic with Zepplin's
"And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold"

However, it's also a tie for me with
"I know
Where the stars glow
And the skys's unclouded.."

-Blind Guardian "Noldor"

And my all-time favorite:
"Jeder Popel faehrt 'nen Opel
Jeder Affe faehrt 'nen Ford
Jeder Bloedmann faehrt 'nen Porsche
Jeder Arsch 'nen Audi Sport
Jeder Spinner faehrt 'nen Manta
Jeder Doedel Jaguar
Nur Geniesser fahren Fahrrad
Und sind immer schneller da"

or in English:
"Every bogey drives an Opel
Every monkey drives a Ford
Every buffoon drives a Porsche
Every ass an Audi Sport
Every nutter drives a Manta
Every fool a Jaguar
Only connoisseurs ride a bike
& always get there more quickly"

"May our constant lust be a cover up for the lack there-of equality, and it won't stay." - To All Things Expendable, by My Bitter End. The whole song is just brutal, and then this part comes in at a very melodic part, that is still brutal. A wicked dichotomy this band has, and this song, especially that part, shows it. Actually, from the same song is the line "This day will mark the coming of ends. This song is a pulse that ends." It blows my mind when it happens, I stop what I'm doing to listen.

Come wind
Come snow
Come winterland
I have resigned myself to death
Come will to show the hidden hand
So I can draw my final breath
You could take me higher
So you said and I trusted you
I may be a liar, but betrayal lies on you

Kamelot - The Black Halo

Great song, Great album. also, props to the guy who posted the firefly theme.

Spoilered because it's the entire song:
If you're not my blood, you are my bones.  The only one I've ever known.
You showed me how to be a man.  You don't know what you mean to me.
So many secrets run through me.

Don't fuck with family!

I've tried to be a better man for you will see that I've grown.

I know we've both made mistakes but you could never fail me.  In my heart you're the one who's molded me to be a man who could make you proud.  Do you have regrets do you ever look back?  Do you have regrets, don't look back.

The one I turn to.  Nobody sees me as you.  You're always there.
You taught me all I know (you better me I know)
You taught me all I know (you better me I know)

I'm sorry for the times I made you sad, I just want you to know that.

I know we've both made mistakes but you could never fail me.  In my heart you're the one who's molded me to be a man who could make you proud.  Do you have regrets do you ever look back?  Do you have regrets, don't look back.  (Don't hold back, don't hold back!)

Many nights I laid awake trying to think of a way to say...  But the words just don't seem to escape.  They get trapped at the start but the feelings won't fade.
So here's a song to say I love you.
This is the one I hope will let you know, I don't need blood but I need bones.  You are my home.

I know we've both made mistakes but you could never fail me.  In my heart you're the one who's molded me to be a man who could make you proud.  Do you have regrets do you ever look back?  Do you have regrets, don't look back.

I don't need blood!  I need bones!

The song is Like Father Like Son, by The Word Alive.
Another great one is:
"If I tear you open wide, take a look inside
Are you pretty?
Can I get inside your mind, see what I can find?
Are you pretty?
So just take off that disguise, everyone knows that you re only
Pretty on the outside"
Pretty on the Outside, by Bullet for my Valentine.
God, I've been listening to a lot of -core music. Need to get some more metal out of that sub-genre...

I would start you off with Diabolic Symphony [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YYqJpEXS0A] and Dragon's Skull [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRb599okRFo] by Steel Attack from their albums Diabolic Symphony (2006) and Where Mankind Fails (1999) respectively.

For Nocturnal Rites I present Afterlife [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-ASCUz5Sdc] and Call out to the World [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GIxkDhDRQ8&feature=related] from Afterlife (2000) and The 8th Sin (2007).

Enjoy.

Puscifer- Rev 22 20

The whole damn song's really quotable. But I'd say this is my favourite line from it.
Damn that was gonna be my choice.

I'll just have to choose

"Christ is coming and so am I. You would too if the sexy devil caught your eye."

From the same song.

Or

"With my feet upon the ground I lose myself
between the sounds and open wide to suck it in,
I feel it move across my skin.
I'm reaching up and reaching out,
I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me.
And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been.
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.

Spiral out. Keep going, going..."

Those words have come to mean a lot to me over the years.

"BURN ************ BURN!!" I forgot the name of the song.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKhN0gh0kjY ?
Not the original song but I'm pretty sure the verse is "We don't need no water let the ************ burn... burn mothefucker, burn."

My personal favourite is,

Credulous at best
Your desire to believe in
Angels in the hearts of men
But pull your head on out
you hippies and give a listen
Shouldn't have to say it all again

The universe is hostile, so impersonal
Devour to survive... so it is, so it's always been

Vicarious - Tool

Awesome! Another Forgive Durden fan. I thought about taking something from one of the Razia's Shadow songs, but I stopped myself, because I'd probably just post the whole album.

"Tell your boyfriend, if he says he's got beef, that I'm a vegetarian and I ain't fucking scared of him."
Probably not the most epic, but it held memetic status at my school for some reason.

If you don't know that line, you obviously suffer from a biological inability to feel joy. I'd fix that if I were you.

Honorable mention goes to:

"And when the band plays "Hail to the chief",
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord."

The same rules apply.
Oh hells yeah on both =)

My fave is The Chain by the Mac

'Run in the shadows,
Damn your love, damn your lies
Break the silence,
Damn the dark, damn the light'
