In Left 4 Dead everyone but Bill got into the saferoom. Bill, AI Bill BTW, kept lagging from just outside the saferoom to 10 metres or so away every 2 seconds. Then a Hunter came and ate him so it worked out alright. After 5 agonising minutes.

Do not play Planescape: Torment on Vista. All the characters will be doing the moon walk.

The Midgard Serpent bug in Tomb Raider: Underworld. Ends your game if you didn't make a manual save at the start of the level. I was so annoyed at getting this one, especially as I read about it and how not to trigger it but I managed to find out some new and exciting ways of ruining my game that hadn't been listed!

You just made me WANT to play it now, actually. If only I had Vista... or well, actually. Can't complain. XP ftw.

This happened to me as well. In the end I just killed him.

Fighting Drek on the final level of the original Ratchet and Clank. I lost all my health but somehow couldn't die and finally managed to kill Drek, but when he died, the game realised I was had been dead for a good few minutes and made me start the whole fight again.

you're calling that a reason NOT to play it?

most annoying glitch for me was either the death of the final boss in Ape Escape! 2 caused my game to freeze.
Or when I tried playing superman returns on the 360 and it actually worked, god I was pissed -.-

in san andreas, when you do that falling animation, and just keep going and going and going, even when you hit the ground, and it pisses me off

Assassins creed: just most of the game was so bad that it ruined the experience for me
What? Thats not a glitch, you're just bashing it.
Apologies, my wording was quite bad. I meant the game was full of glitches which ruined the experience for me

In the suffering there is this part when you fall into a river bed, and the only place to go is an old shipwrek. Other than that there is no way out other then exploiting other glitches to get to the other side.

For some reason, Morrowind will occasionally just stop playing, shut down, and take me back to my desktop where an "Error Report" window shows up. It gets on my nerves quite a bit.

I've seen way too many of these annoying things it's not even funny.

The most annoying? Left 4 Dead pre-patch. Getting stuck in walls is not fun. The glitch that still exists where in Versus Mode which spawns you in an area you can't get out of, so you sit there waiting to be shot there like a dunce.

The glitch that refuses to spawn the Tank in the finale. Thankfully most of these don't happen except for the Versus mode one.

Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers on PS2. In the last level you have to defeat two trolls before they break down the barricade in front of the last bastion in Helm's Deep. Somehow I managed to beat them at the EXACT same time they broke down the barricade. The game didn't know what to do and tried to show both ending cinematics and froze. God that was annoying. I pretty much hated that level anyway, and that just fuelled the fire.
