Seven day survivor - dead rising
Transmissionary - dead rising
Doctor of the Peggle arts - peggle
save this film - halo 3
two for one - halo 3

I think I might cry due to some of the Halo ODST achievements.

In Oblivion trying to do all of the Dadrae Shrine Quests, then you get to one and the game f**king crahes everytime. I forget the name of the shrine sorry, but I do know this glitch occurs on a lot of copies of the game.

Little Rocket Man acheivement from Half Life 2 Episode 2, trying to keep that god damned knome (spelling) with me has ended the lives of about all my friends.
You wont get the achievement but if you want the satisfaction of bringing it all the way to the end, go on garry's mod and play the EP2 missions then spawn a gun then weld the knome to the gun and pick it up and weld it to the car when you need to drive. Or of course you could just spawn the knome on the last level =P

Hacking 50 terminals in Fallout 3. It wouldn't be nearly so hard if I didn't have to get a frakkin' pen and paper out just to work out the arcane formulas that you need to work out just to get the terminal hacked. And you have to do this fifty times!
You're joking, right? There's at least 50 Easy terminals in that game, so just level up your Science skill to remove wrong answers. From there, the hacking runs like that old pegboard game "Mastermind."

As far as straight-up achievement difficulty goes, nothing begins to compare to Japanese shmups. "Clear the game without continuing" achievement is a given, and then you have the *really* hard ones...
THIS kind of thing in Mega Man 9. Just seriously, wtf. Beat the entire game with 0 deaths?! Oh sure, next you'll want me to find the Ark of the Covenant, xD

Umm..if you're talking about the left 4 dead achievement, that's really easy, just have to keep playing it. Unless you have it for the console and you don't have online capability in which case..that would suck. Versus mode is the only thing that keeps me playing that game..and even that's starting to piss me off..

Watching the intro for SoulCalibur VI, I mean I want to play the game not watch the intro! (jk)

All of RE5's online match ones, considering I don't want to pay for that content!

Halo 3, the only achievement I cannot get, no matter how hard I try is the double laser kill for 5 effing gs. The worst part is that after I tried getting it for long enough I ranked up to 34 and there arent enough stupid newbs that high to get lucky with people dicking around. FRUSTRATING. I gave up. Moved on.

the Achievement from dead rising for killing the ENTIRE population of Willamette thats somthing like 53,594 zombies i have to kill in 72 hours.
I managed it by driving around in the parking garage until my car broke, getting a new one, then repeat ad nauseam. The good news is that I got the achievement... the bad news is I don't feel like playing ever again. :(

Zombie in Shadowrun. You can only get it in CTF if you've been killed, brought back from the dead, and the player who resurrected you is killed less than 20 seconds before you score with the flag.

EDIT: though I do remember helping another player get it, by intentionally committing suicide in a match right before he scored.

Have you tried the rubber band trick?
i did that, and i got the achievement.
but soo not worth the 15G.

anyway, The hardest achievement i got was any Phantasy Star achievement.
I have absolutely NO patience for that game offline.
Online it's pretty bearable, but offline just makes me want to grab a puppy and chew its tail off.
... slowly.

No, he means Dead Rising. Its more time consuming than it is annoying; but still a heluvalot more frustrating than Left 4 Dead's. PLUS: L4D you need one more kill than you do in Dead Rising.

But, for me, usually any collect achievement that has a staggeringly large number of collectibles in an extremely large area.
Also, secret achievements. They know that we just look them up anyway, seriously, just stop putting them in its inconvienient and annoying.

Strange..I got that one rather easily. Though the last time I played that game was probably when it was launched.

Mile High Club on Veteran. I broke my controller with my forehead.
Me too, except I broke my forehead with my controller.

Is it just the console version of that level that is hard? Cause I found it to be challenging, but not punishingly hard on the PC version? Or is there any difference? (I wouldnt think so.)

For some reason, I'm having a really hard time getting "Flawless Freeflow Fighter" in Batman: Arkham Asylum. You have to complete a combat challenge map without taking damage. It doesn't sound all that tough, but since I'm also in need of "Freeflow Combo 40", I have a bad habit of trying to finish combat challenge maps with one giant combo.

Inevitably, I mess up and lose my shot at both achievements. Frustrating.
For the No Damage one, the first combat challenge should work, no Knife or Stun Rod thugs, just counter everything, take-down when you can. For the second, there's a part in the story, during the first time you get to Arkham Mansion where you find 10 thugs without weapons. That's where I got it.

(I'm only going by achievements that I've tried to get.)
It would probably have to be "Keep Off the Sand" for Half Life 2. I spent almost two hours on that stupid level, making sure that I had plenty of crap to make a bridge everywhere, and when I finally finish the level it doesn't give me the achivement. I starting flipping.
Funny thing about that, same thing happened to me. I reloaded an old save and tried again, got it, and now do that every time I go through just because I find it fun to find new and better ways to do it.
