Beating CoD4 on Veteran. Even if you use the right tactics in every mission, a lot of it seems to come down to luck. Like, in the TV station, I had to replay that so many times because my stupid squad mates would walk into the closet with me, so I couldn't shoot out, and that meant every enemy in there would throw grenades into the closet with me. And I don't even want to talk about how many times a stupid marine would suddenly stand up in my line of fire and force me to restart because of friendly fire.
That certainly isn't the hardest level, but it shows just how frustrating that game gets. The beginning of Shock & Awe was also annoying, because they could shoot you long before you could aim your guns at the anti-aircraft positions, but I think I was just playing through that level on Veteran way too early.
