The Chantry teaches us that it is the hubris of men which brought the darkspawn into our world. The mages had sought to usurp Heaven. But instead, they destroyed it. They were cast out, twisted and cursed by their own corruption. They returned as monsters, the first of the darkspawn. They became a blight upon the lands, unstoppable and relentless. The dwarven kingdoms were the first to fall. And from the deep roads, the darkspawn drove at us again and again, until finally we neared annihilation... until the Grey Wardens came. Men and women from every race, warriors and mages, barbarians and kings, the Grey Wardens sacrificed everything to stem the tide of darkness, and prevailed. It has been four centuries since that victory, and we have kept our vigil. We have watched and waited for the darkspawn to return. But those, who once called us heroes, have forgotten. We are few now, and our warnings have been ignored for too long. It may even be too late, for I have seen with my own eyes what lies upon the horizon. Maker help us all.

Ron Pearlman's openings for Fallout games are always pretty cool.
This. Nothing will ever top the original Fallout's opening segment and the first uttering of "War...war never changes."

But his name's spelled Perlman.

Whenever I smell asphalt, I think of Maureen. That's the last sensation I had...before I blacked out. The thick smell of asphalt.

And the first thing I saw when I woke up was her face. She said she'd fix my bike...free, no strings attached. I should have known then that things were never that simple.

Yeah. When I think of Maureen, I think of two things: asphalt...and trouble.

"EA Games. Challenge everything"
I will forever remember this. It's like the worst possible combination of a scar and a scorch-mark.

"War...war never changes. Or does it? The war has changed...did it? The answer is no! Unless it is yes! No, of course it is! Is war! Yes! No! Yes?" -- Duty Calls: The Calm Before the Storm

For every age there is a time of trial. The rocks faced such a fire before they were the strength beneath our feet. The plants braved vast winds before their roots could give us life. As a sage of considerable years, I have known only one such great ordeal. Yet the hero it created was a champion of all time.

"Wake up, you were dreaming... what's your name?"
Nerevar Rising is the alarm tone on my phone, so fairly often when I wake up, I can't help but think of that gruff voiced Dunmer saying that.
Pfffft, my text alert is the Cliff Racer scream :p

For me, I would say Morrowind or Half-Life 2, but ninjas... so "Hello. And, again, welcome to the Aperture Science computer-aided enrichment centre..."
*Shudder*
Why would you do that to yourself?

Looks like all the good ones were taken... For the record I thought of the Ron Pearlman Fallout intro when I first read the title.

"50,000 people used to live here. Now it's a ghost town. I've never seen anything like it."

The intro to CoD4 has always stuck with me. Well, I suppose it's the cinematic of a later scene in the game, but it's the first thing you see. I remember that part in the game gave me chills, and then whenever I would boot up the game, I would watch that whole line every single time, even though I was going to just jump into multiplayer, I had to watch that every single time I booted it up.

I want to say the monologue that opens Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, but that's not personally the most memorable. No, I'll go with

"Nana, nananana na na na, Katamari Damacy..."

Deep and thought provoking? Nah. Memorable? Damn straight.

Dang there are too many, and some of them have already been taken. Oh screw it, I will post 'em anyways.
War. War Never Changes.
Rise and shine Mr. Freeman. Rise and Shine.
If there is evil in this world, it lurks in the hearts of man.

And how about ending lines:
Life...Dreams...Hope...Where do they come from? And where do they go? Such meaningless things... I'll destroy them all!
