Whats the most Obscure band you can think of?

Mine would have to be Fear of Eternity. One-Man Ambiant Black Metal.
Fear of Eternity is really awesome. I like Summoning better, though.

For obscure bands, though, I think the Slavonic Pagan Black Metal Bands Slavland and Hromovlad would be my best proposals.

I know a really obscure band that none of you have heard of but they told me not to tell you their name because you're not cool and you'd probably just tell all your really uncool friends about them and they don't want that because they're too cool and obscure for mainstream trappings like "fans" and "gigs where there's more people in the audience than on stage".

Being that I was behind a car with a Mr. Bungle bumper sticker yesterday I'm going to have to tell you they're not obscure.

Before I got everyone into them by forcing their music down people's throats, noone I know had heard of Sugarcult. Though I think it's more well known by Americans, so the majority of you probably know of them.

How about Sacred Mother Tongue? They're a good band, but I can't find any of their music anywhere online.

Linchpin
Def Con 1 (even though they're totally crap)
Love.Story.Hero (also crap one man band)

Birth control. A 'Kraut rock' group from the 70's. Did an amazing album called, back door possibilities.
Van der graf generator. A cool prog rock band.
Return to forever (although not too obscure, they were a jazz rock super group). Try the album, hymn of the 7th galaxy.
Divine styler. A far out hip hop outfit, their first album, wordpower is amazing.
Magma. They just have to be heard to be believed!
i could go on, i'm enjoying this!

Gogol Bordello or some bonus band from Rock Band 2.
Of course, saying no one in my school knows them isn't saying much. They haven't heard of bloody Smashing Pumpkins.
I love Gogol Bordello, I saw them in NYC and it was pretty good.

Anyone here heard of The World/Inferno Friendship Society?
Most amazing live show ever.
